Roni Size has been an integral part of the V family since the very beginning of the label's journey, and we're excited to reveal that he makes two appearances on the forthcoming 'Future' album - a remix, alongside a brand new production which will be revealed soon! 

First up we have Benny L on the buttons with his reimagining of a Roni classic, 'Dayz'. The original mix landed on V in 1996, part of a double a-sided single along with 'Box of Tricks' a two-tracker that has truly stood the test of time! 

Benny L is a name anyone with a passing interest in D&B over the past 12 months will have found difficult to ignore, slaying dancefloors with his upfront productions. For this new remix he has stayed faithful to the vibe of the original, bringing it bang up to date for a new decade!

With Quarter To Quarter, Amsterdam-based record label The North Quarter delivers its first compilation album: a manifesto and its most ambitious project to date.

The 14 track project features prominent vocalists IAMDDB and Azekel, Bass Music legends Total Science and Break and all the core artists that have made Lenzman’s boutique label the breath of fresh air it is today.

The North Quarter is a collective of artists from around the globe, brought together through a shared love for the authentic. The imprint has become a household name in just a short space of time through ambitious and highly detailed artist projects. With Quarter to Quarter, a compilation of cutting edge Drum & Bass music, the label further solidifies its reputation and unique vision.

Never doing things the fast and easy way, the album was put together and nurtured by A&R and founder Lenzman over the course of 18 months.

Lenzman explains: “Way back when I first got into music, I wanted to share that magic with others. Today that same urge still endures within me. With this album I've tried to bring together a group of artists with whom I have shared values, who have never been brought together in this way, and create a timeless statement of intent."

Hailing from a Soul, Rare Groove and Reggae background MC Fats is one of the scenes original Drum & Bass vocalist MCs and has been performing in clubs worldwide since the since the early 90’s.

He is well known for his soulful lyrics and flow and has held the mic for almost every top Drum & Bass DJ that exists finding himself regularly working alongside Dj's Hype, Fabio, Andy C, Calibre, Goldie, Friction, Marky, S.P.Y & A Sides.

His vocal skills have been lent to many releases appearing on labels such as Eastside, Shogun Audio, Metalheadz, Valve, Breakbeat Kaos, FFRR, Signature, Movement, Ram and True Playaz.

For the last 10 years Fats has been a resident MC for London’s super club Fabric as well as holding the mic at some of the top venues the UK has to offer including The End, Matter, Ministry Of Sound and Cable.

At present he is working with some of the scenes top producers collaborating with Calibre (Signature), Basher (Ram), DJ Lynx (Detail Recordings), Break & DJ Die (Clear Skyz), A Sides (Eastside) and Richie Montana (R1 Productions)

Mc Fats has worked his vocal magic to many Drum & Bass anthems such as DJ Hype's 'Peace, Love & Unity', Potential Bad Boy's 'Girlz', Calibre's 'Drop It Down', A Sides 'What U Don’t Know', Dillinja's 'I Told You How To Rock', Pendulum's 'Plastic World' and Alix Perez 'Down The Line'

There is no doubt that MC Fats is a truly amazing vocalist, as anyone who has booked him will gladly confirm. No machine-gun mc-ing here, just pure Soul, Vibes and expertise.
