UK producer Reuben Lowe returns to 3rd Avenue with his follow-up release, the Dark Matter EP. After making his debut on the Three Of A Kind EP #32 earlier this year and contributing to Correlation Vol. 8 on Sound Avenue, Reuben has quickly become a name to watch within the label family. A unique talent, Filip Kaczmarek has been mesmerising audiences since 2008 with a distinctive blend of rhythm and melody through his Kobana pseudonym. Moving into a deeper, tech house sound with his "Freefall" EP in August 2015, Proton Music now extends Kobana's work further with two stellar remixes from the Dutch and German debutants.

Dutch duo, Andy Godderis and Igor Shumlyanskiy have been producing music together since 2006 under their Mononoid production moniker. After an evolution of their sound from initial works, into a deeper, "more profound" production process, a sprinkling of stardust saw their work come across the path of Traum Schallplatten. A debut remix of Microtrauma for Traum quickly followed in 2011 followed by a host of original and remix work including the "Protoplasm", "Parallel to the Radius" and "Cut into Sections" EPs. Beatport chart success has been a constant companion throughout the Mononoid journey, supplemented by support from Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, and Luciano.

2015's "Pathways" EP for Guy J's Lost and Found marked another feather in the Mononoid cap in May 2015, and the "Lack of Evidence" EP for Particles was a label highlight. Now making their debut on Proton Music the Mononoid remix of "Freefall" sees Godderis and Shumlyanskiy layer a panoply of additional production layers to Kobana's original elements. Retaining the distinctive pad sound, a subterranean bass line reverberates across the bottom end as sublime delayed freeform riffs shimmer in carefully constructed space. A skipping percussive section adds dance floor delight to a work of genuine skill and ingenuity.

Schooled in classical piano for a decade, German producer, Luc Angenehm, has been involved in dance music from an early age. Inspired by the underground house music fraternity and sibling influences, Angenehm move into the world of electronic music production after lessons at Cologne's Modern Musik School proved inspired. In spite of a career that only began in 2013, Traum were quick to pick up on the young German's talent through the "Tour De Traum" compilations. Further original work for Solid Shape, Pure and MBF ltd. have further illustrated Angenehm's technique and ability.

First coming to the attention of label owner, Jay Epoch, through his remix of mallone.'s "Giant Causeway" for Save Us, Proton Music is delighted to welcome Luc Angenehm through a deft-defying remix of Kobana. A stunning work of power and precision, Angenehm has taken "Freefall" – seamlessly blending key themes from the original with intelligent and evocative additional production material. Acoustic percussion trips and skips its way through a barely noticeable eight-and-a-half minute journey as a bass line growls a spine-tingling riff, combined with intelligently placed field recordings, to provide the perfect partner to Kobana's melodic line. Evolving effortlessly post-breakdown, a melange of counterpoint melody and atmospheric water effects perfectly illustrate Luc Angenehm's prodigious talent.

A pair of new remixes from Monoid and Luc Angenehm has seen Kobana's "Freefall" scale new heights.

Second remix comes from this new young talent from Sweden Carl Dern.
Calle & Clea samples the radiohosts of RBMA Up North so hopefully we
wont get sued : ) It's a dirty dirty track.

The new and enigmatic Silence Path debuts on Loot Recordings and captures the harmonious universe of experimental sounds, overflowing with emotion and spiritual feelings. The package features three originals and remixes from Powel, Quatri and Yoni Yarchi.

The title track "In Perfect Harmony", from which the name of the EP is derived, is taken from the original track "PAZUL VIII", published on Soundcloud for Piano Day Playlist 2018 by Nils Frahm on 29.03.2018, © Pazul 2018 All Rights Reserved". Silence Path's interpretation of PAZUL VIII, resumes in a subtle and hypnotic track, with an evolving soundscape of the beach, echoing percussion, tinkling pianos and lush pads.

The title track "Illusion" combines playful melodies and warm bass lines, creating a breezy, summer-like vibe. The creative genius of Powel returns to Loot and delivers a version that highlights the original melodies, layered on top of heavenly string arrangements and an uplifting bass line. 

The title track "Nebula" focuses on a memorable melody that's blended with the gentle sounds of nature, ethereal voices and rising strings to create a musical story. Quatri turns up the excitement with a cosmic feel, cleverly distorting the melodic hook with smart effects and swelling, ecstatic synths. Next up is Yoni Yarchi's remix, a magical journey of emotional frequencies and euphoric pads where the original elements shine.
