This episode serves as a teaser for our next vinyl release on Experimental Media, PNEM02, signed by Volkan Akin. A two track EP named "Sinister" with Volkan's intimate, deep experimentations.
All tracks used in this mix have been produced, arranged and performed live at Club der Visionaere.

Welcome to Pluie/Noir. How are you? Had a good entrance in 2015?
Thank you very much, i´m doing fine, and glad to be part of p/n now.
 
You’ve been having a swift but steady career with few but incredibly strong releases. How’s your workflow lately?  
My workflow is a combination of live jamming between hardware instruments and digital software, recorded directly to the computer or even tape. Lately most of my tracks are recorded and arranged live, but of course I also arrange some works on the computer. The classic copy and paste, till I get my eyes square.
It's important for me to build up the main groove/loop as fast as possible, which usually takes about 1-2 hours. After that its all about listening.. Sometimes for a day or longer, i´m just listening. And if I still like it, it's ready to be completed with the other parts! If i´m working for more than 3-4 days on a track, I usually stop. I let the project go off for a sleep at my "hard-drive-motel" and start something new in the meantime.    
 
You’re releasing out first 10” vinyl on Pluie/Noir Experimental Media. What were your inspirations for the two tracks in “Sinister” EP?  
Sometimes I try to compensate certain life experiences through my music. Previous moments in life, good or bad, happy or sad. I like to express feelings that way, emptying myself, channeling emotions, making some intimate personal space and starting a new chapter. Both tracks on the ´Sinister EP´ where a result of those moments.
 
This podcast was recorded live! When was it, and how did you feel doing it at CdV? 
This cut was recorded last year, and it's the first hour of a late-afternoon live-set at Club der Visionaere. It was a nice sunny Autumn weekend. It could be considered a late after-hours, and I think that this podcast totally reflects that day of nice moments, ups and downs and more importantly, the people and the atmosphere.
    
Hopes and dreams for 2015?
I'm hoping for the best in 2015, there's still an enourmous amount of things to do!

Welcome to Pluie/Noir. How are you, and how was the start of 2015?
I'm well, thank you. 2015 started very nicely for me. I was in California spending time with my sister and my niece making wishes for a great year ahead.
 
You seem pretty indulged in fine arts in general. How did you end up making art?
I've always been making art, ever since I was a little girl. My parents always indulged my interest and it only grew as I got older. Now it's part of my everyday life, looking at art, talking about it with friends and making it.
 
You’re doing the artwork of our first 10” vinyl on Pluie/Noir Experimental Media. What were your inspirations on these artworks?
My inspiration for those two pieces, Flow and Wolfie, are based out of the natural world and animal kingdom. Flow is a study of long flowing animal fur, and Wolfie is a study of a dog/wolf cub in the afterlife, focusing on the different patterns/colors/shapes that may appear in the realm between realms, moving from earth to a different frequency of existence. Dots/lines/patterns make up the whole.

What are your next steps in visual experimentation?
I want to work more on double sided paintings with oil paint on glass. Paintings that will use sunlight or firelight to abstract the image and influence the imagination.
 
Hopes and dreams for 2015?
More art, more music, more friends, more love, more happiness, more wealth and great health.
