Collection Manager Bill Stanely takes us to visit the tiniest workers behind the scenes at the Field Museum.  Dermestid beetles and their larvae chew the flesh off of animal specimens, leaving only the skeletons behind.  Their work makes preserving and cataloging these specimens possible.

For generations, the ability to make and use tools was thought to be a defining characteristic of humanity.  A landmark discovery by Jane Goodall in the 1960's blurred that line, and research into primate tool use continues to do so today.
