"tote liebe" grew from my instrumental Yearning, merging its melancholic string writing with a dark, epic vocal delivery.
This song is written to invite multiple readings — whether you hear a lost love, an unbroken obsession, or a dialogue with the shadow/self is entirely up to you.

Violin color
Lead lines use Virharmonic’s Bohemian Violin for feather-light bowing, intimate vibrato and fluid performance legato — a fragile, breathing tone that carries the lament.

Vocal disclosure (ACE Studio)
The voice is rendered with ACE Studio because no suitable singer was available in time. Melody, phrasing, dynamics and expression were composed and designed by me. I care about real, honest music: composition, arrangement, performance design, mixing & mastering are hand-crafted; ACE only renders the vocal line I wrote.

What to listen for

Slow, elastic phrases above restrained percussion; violin and low pads build tension.

Verse: close, chest-heavy voice; Chorus: wider, more distorted harmonics.

Bridge: violin answers the vocal in sighing intervals, then falls back into silence.

"tote liebe" ist aus meinem Instrumental Yearning entstanden und verbindet dessen melancholische Streicher & Piano mit einem düsteren, epischen Gesang.
Der Text ist so gestaltet, dass mehrere Deutungen möglich sind – ob verlorene Liebe, ungebrochene Obsession oder ein Zwiegespräch mit dem Schatten/Ich, entscheidet ihr beim Hören.

Violine
Die führende Klangfarbe stammt von der Virharmonic Bohemian Violin – hauchzarte Striche, intimes Vibrato und ein natürlich fließendes Performance-Legato für diese zerbrechlichen, atmenden Linien.

Mir ist ehrliche, menschliche Musik wichtig: Komposition, Arrangement, Performance-Design sowie Mix & Master sind handgemacht; ACE setzt lediglich die von mir geschriebene Gesangslinie um.
Bridge: die Violine antwortet dem Gesang in seufzenden Intervallen und fällt zurück in Stille.

This week Tim and Tom deliver a pre-taped episode recorded before their European tour which of course leads with an extensive conversation about the possibility of the episode being automatically released after their inevitable plane crash. Tim also has a lot of questions about the frail old man serving as Tom's personal butler for all of these years.

Some of the many, many urban legends around Disney Theme Park that are addressed this week include the infamous Club 33, the parks' rules around long-hairs, whether or not anyone at the park has ever been pronounced dead on the premises, and some unusual requests in Walt Disney's will surrounding the first man to become pregnant and presumably isn't Arnold Schwarzenegger. Finally the guys solve a listener problem concerning a large VHS purchase recently made at a flea market, of course.
