James Curd and Luke Million, what a pairing! After dropping an incredibly groovy tune “Yellow Magic” on Exploited as Luke & Jimmy, the unstoppable Adelaide-based producer James Curd has once again teamed up with fellow Aussie producer Luke Million (of The Swiss), for a new collaborative track called “Say The Words To You”. Featuring vocals from Nah Man!, aka Yeah Boy, the side project of Parachute Youth’s Johnny Castro, “Say The Words To You” is filled with Million’s signature synth lines and some serious French Touch vibes, and it’s every bit as delicious as you’d expect from this pair. Blast it above.

"Say The Words To You" pulls inspiration from the era when Chicago and Paris were walking hand in hand delivering the best house music in the world. It was like a friendly race to space with each city inspiring the other to out do the last release. Featuring Nah Man!’s vocals gives the song a perfect blend of vintage stylings with a current generations voice.

For their first ever double-LP outing Razor-N-Tape presents POOLS, with a sun-drenched and laid-back collection of tunes called Innertubes. POOLS, the moniker of Los Angeles duo Thee Mike Bee and DJ Morsecode, craft a sound that conjures up the easy going swagger and soulful grit of the left-most coast. The first two sides of original versions read like an album, perfect for a lazy Sunday rooftop BBQ with beers, bros and blunts, (although no doubt some of these gems will find their way into DJs' warm-up and boom-bap sets). Sides C & D elevate the juncture to dance floor level, with smooth and varied remixes from RNT stalwarts Luvless and DJ Vas, plus label newcomers thatmanmonkz and Junktion.

Toy Tonics Top Tracks are the label's most relevant tracks of the last year. They are released every august on one compilation. Last year was crazy for the label. Vinyl sales exploded and almost every TT record had to be repressed 1 or 2 times. Some Toy Tonics records sold over 2500 copies (Phenomenal Handclap Band, COEO, Kapote). And if Corona would not have happened 2020 would have seen Toy Tonics Jams all over Europe every weekend with Residencies at clubs like XOYO, London and Griessmühle, Berlin. The events are rescheduled and will happen in 2021. Meanwhile Toy Tonics has released a couple of big tracks. They are all collected on this compilation.
