It's crazy that the original song and Alesso's remix are friggin 10 years old. I still remember how much that was played on the radio and while at the time I wasn't even a fan, that song resonated with me. It cemented itself as an anthem both in pop music and EDM with the remix.
I didnt even realize how far back the tune had come out and I was already working on this remix when I decided to finish it randomly as a DJ tool. I've been playing the various drafts at DJ gigs for about a year and now I've decided to give it back to you guys as a gift on my own birthday! Enjoy.

My live set from Anthrocon 2015 complete with reverb and crowd noise and reaction. I performed Friday Night as the last set at 1am. The crowd was still somehow able to make it through my set which went harder than expected! This mix is far from perfect due to it being completely unplanned and also the venue not having any stage monitors during the set! Despite some incorrect transitions, please enjoy this set!

From a hobby bedroom producer to deejaying all over America, MDKai has been finding his production footing since 2014. First asked to contribute to a small group of producers known as US Jump Up Movement by Rawtee on their compilation EP Give Thanks for Bass, the San Francisco Bay Area raised producer has been hosting his own events, enjoying the good vibes and has (in recent days) been hard at work in the studio. With an upcoming EP set for independent release, and even creating the cover art for it, he plans to bring not just forward thinking bass music to the masses, as well as emotional, hard hitting, half-time drum & bass but also psychedelic sounds to any audience that loves all types of music. Never simply just sticking to one style, he can always be expected to catch the listeners and dancers off guard with his unmistakable style.
