Madura's bio:
Known for her vibrant personality and solid track selection, Madura has set fire to countless dance floors throughout the years. Always bringing a solid track selection consisting of  minimal beats mixed together with deep and driving house. She has a powerful and playful sound that radiates throughout venues. Combined with her vibrant stage personality she is known to create a musical connection with the crowds, making every one of her sets something special. 

It comes to no one's surprise that her unique style has seen her frequent clubs and festivals ranging from the north to the south of Sweden, as well as in Denmark. Her most notable gigs include Culture Box and Ved Siden Af in Copenhagen, and Backyard Sessions Festival in Malmö. Madura is also one of the creators and driving forces in the house collective krux - that focuses on creating magical dance floor experiences whilst promoting equality in the scene.

The 30th episode of "Podcast Series" is a set made by 7 Levels, born in Romania, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He will play for MDK x Module: AAA this Saturday on 18 November 2023 at Module in Copenhagen, come by to experience some magic!

Bio:
Throughout my life I explored music. It came naturally to listen to a variety of genres and artists from all over the world and study the impact it had on my emotions. I was a patient zero in my own little research. I became really motivated in DJing simply because I wanted to see how music impacts others, and how I can tailor that to increase the positive effects. I considered it an expansion of my “experiment” to new horizons. 

The more I advanced in my craft the more I uncovered, especially when often putting myself in front of difficult crowds, crowds that apparently not share a similar musical taste. Those situations really enabled my creativity as a DJ and helped me elevate more and more. I strongly believe I reached a level above me peers from this point of view, backing up this statement with the constant positive feedback I get from listeners. From a technical standpoint I am by no means on a ‘DJ Craze’ or ‘A-Trak’ level, but that was never my goal. However, I can hold my own in any club or outdoor event, regardless of the pressure, crowd or equipment.

I strive to deliver an experience for the crowd and not just play songs that I personally enjoy. For that reason, I never really come to an event with a narrow selection of songs, but more with a broader selection that spans between a variety of connected genres. It’s really fascinating for me how much information a DJ can get when simply paying attention to dance floor. 

The versatility I mention above is what really gave birth to ‘7 Levels’. It associates a set I play with a game formed of multiple levels, varying sometimes in intensity, complexity and variety. This is the persona I created when I decided that the experimental phase of my DJ journey was over, and I could niche myself on electronic genres that I am the most passionate about. 

Adding my genre passion to the mix, I believe gave birth to some special performances, and I am really excited to showcase it to the MDK crowd with every chance I will get.

Roman was born in Brasov, Romania, beautiful city surrounded by mountains and the Legend of Dracula. He experimented with genres such as Hip Hop Minimal Techno House Deep Tech sice he was 15 years old. A new amazing podcast by Verzila marks the 33rd Episode of "MDK Podcast Series". Enjoy!

Sebastian Borca aka Verzila is a local electronic Romanian dj, music producer and promoter, the one behind the well-known eponymous YouTube channel with the same name.

He developed a passion for modern electronic dance beats from the age of 14, exploring numerous genres and sub-genres. Over time, he finds the various flavors of house and techno to be the ones he resonates with the most and begins to devote more and more attention to music.

A new chapter was written in May 2017 when he founded Welter Records, an independent label that aims to give more exposure to international and Romanian artists who are at the beginning of their careers. The second chapter was born in 2021 with the project label Inunct Music, which is a free download house with the aim of spreading music for free and helping artists express their vision through music.

Sohrab Karimi aka Ahu https://soundcloud.com/ahu_sohrab is a producer born in Tehran, Iran, living in Berlin nowadays. Ahu is one of the few artists who prefer to adopt low profile, with little to almost no information about him, beside his music.

Ahu’s signature sound is almost impossible to capture into words: introspective blue, sometimes with a Giegling feeling, other times with deep & dubby references to the minimal house scene, yet always authentic and promiscuous.

Little do we know about https://soundcloud.com/shahr-farang nor https://soundcloud.com/kolonygorky, Ahu’s record labels and homes for much of his releases. The labels reflect his vision about the electronic music, with ambient soundscapes, experimental concepts and sometimes dancefloor oriented cuts.

Somewhere in 2017 Ahu accepted our invitation to contribute to the Introspections series with a mix built with his own productions. To this date, it remanis one of the most beautiful mixes we’ve ever hosted.
