Performing for MDKrom Birthday Bash at Culture Box, Geroge b2b set with Daniel Naad will take you on a journey of deep grooves for their warmup set followed by a fresh and eccentric path of the story. 😎💣 

 
Their collaboration started at one of our first events, Landscapes, when Daniel was invited to play his debut set for MDKrom. They started playing together at the launching of the MDKrom project called What We Play – An anthology of what artists play in their space. Therefore, they started getting into each other's style, familiarizing themselves with frequencies that vary from Rominimal to Micro and Minimal House, complementing one another by finding a common musical ground. Their background in Techno has influenced their introduction to the Danish scene and has set a footprint on their style that made them adapt and approach heavier basslines blended with intricate uplifting backgrounds and groovy percussive elements.

The next Volume represents a special audio journey for every electronic music connoisseur. Ted Amber, the founder of Botanic Minds and OMM, joins laminim for  the fifth Volume. 

Born in Lithuania and currently based in London, United Kingdom, he developed over the years a very delicate taste for music. He fell in love with the underground scene at a very early age, and since that moment, his desire was to conquer it through his music. With constant support from some of the most recognized worldwide names and the impressive vinyl releases, Ted Amber constantly delivered to exceed everyone's expectations.

Recorded live as the closing set for MDK's 3-year anniversary at Module in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Founder and co-owner of “MDK” project since 2021, Geroge likes to engage his audience by having sets with a storytelling nature, strong and groovy basslines, crispy claps and cheeky percussions, complimented by an intricate background sound that controls the mood he wants to pursue. He is interested in finding the groove with his music and he is working mostly with underground music, including minimal house, house, breakbeat, electro, minimal techno, rominimal, minimal acid and acid house.

Starting his career in 2018, Geroge had the chance to be part of impressive lineups and special events, sharing decks with artists like Cap, Ada Kaleh, ERIS, Nima Gorji, Janeret, Sublee, Cristi Cons, Suciu, Lizz, Searcher, Zenk, Leanca and many more. In the end of 2020, he created the groups “Minimal Denmark” and “Copenhagen Minimal Events” in order to start spreading the love for the music that he loved and then developed the project “MDK” which is daily pushing forward the underground music scene in Copenhagen, Denmark and other fine places in Europe through events and different activities.

Peter Zherebtsov is a music producer from Russia and we welcome him for our next instalment to our podcast series and delivers us #038. We have finally arrived at the end of our Volume compilation, featuring a very special guest who needs no introduction. For the tenth volume, we are joined by Crihan, also known as “Discret Popescu.”

Alin Crihan began his career in Târgu Mureș in 2004. In 2009, he moved to Bucharest and has since consistently exceeded the expectations of the Underground Electronic Music Scene in Romania’s capital and beyond.

His performances at Sunwaves have always been inspirational, helping him gradually create a special connection with the crowd over the years, resulting in many memorable moments on the sand of the Romanian shore of the Black Sea. 
Over the time, he has developed a unique sound that is now considered one of the purest definitions of Romanian minimalism, especially evident in his releases between 2015 and 2020.

This final volume of our compilation marks a significant milestone in our musical journey. A total of ten special podcasts, incredible performances, spectacular guests, and most importantly, the people and music that brought it all to life. We’ve met incredible people along the way and created memories that will live forever in our hearts.

We would like to personally express our gratitude to all the artists involved in our project, and especially to all the listeners who played the volumes and critically contributed to our work, giving valuable significance to our efforts.

Born in ’93 and raised in Romania, now established in Denmark, Geroge discovered his passion for minimal in 2012, after starting to attend a lot of underground parties in Bucharest and a couple of festivals in Romania. Inspired by artists like Ion Ludwig, Petre Inspirescu, Priku, Takashi Himeoka, Barac, Herodot and Afriqua, he started playing music in 2018 and got better with every set while creating interesting and various vibes. He likes to engage his audience by having mixes with a storytelling nature, strong and groovy basslines, crispy claps and an intricate background sound that controls the mood he wants to pursue

Geroge is interested in finding the groove with his music and he is working mostly with Minimal Techno, Micro House, Acid House and Breakbeat. Among the sets for events or different labels podcasts, he likes to set up a specific mood while playing music and for this reason he is constantly developing his podcast series like GRV (Groove Series), TRP (Trip Series) and soon to appear, DRK (Dark Series).

He played music at underground events in Romania and at one of the editions of Pe Coclauri festivals where he is also a volunteer. Since he moved to Denmark in 2020, he hosted multiple private events and was invited to play music in Copenhagen, the sets being available to listen on his SoundCloud profile. In the end of 2020, he created the group “Minimal Denmark” in order to start spreading the love for the music that he loved and then developed, together with two partners, the project “MDKrom” which focuses on organizing events in different locations in Copenhagen, Denmark.
