Recorded live at Horoom in mid-March comes this next instalment from Copenhagen representative Martin Gilleshøj. The DJ, co-founder of KUNE music and arts festival, co-founder of Axces Recordings (and their event series), and head at vinyl dispensary Proton Records is a bulwark of the Danish scene. Alongside pals like previous Bassiani Podcast guest Kasper Marott, Søren Kinch and Popmix he’s been key to his city’s cultural offer, blending groovy dancefloor tracks irrespective of narrow genre categorisations with a focus on high-energy nighttime turnouts. It’s a witty spin on clubland fare, iconoclastic and highly danceable stuff that keeps the happy chemicals unanimously flowing. Another plate to spin: he also now runs Buttheads, an intimate club series turned into a record label for the work of selected friends. Through all these outlets, Martin unravels the common thread that binds his work together, laying open a mix of styles and developing something fresh in their coming together. For Bassiani Podcast 261 Gilleshøj flexes his DJ muscles and delivers three hours of wobbly prime time bangers. Fluid, shapeshifting and soulful rhythms, slick selecting flawlessly woven together, a gradual build that perfectly epitomises Horoom’s spirit. This is a sweaty, long haul set from the Danish polymath and clubfloor mischief-maker.

Konstantin is a german DJ and producer who established himself as a one of the most exceptional figures of the modern electronic music scene. Giegling, an eclectic label he formed with his friends, has covered everything from techno and house to experimental and ambient. In 2014, Resident Advisor named Giegling as the best label of the year and wrote that "With albums and EPs from Kettenkarussell, Vril, Edward, Traumprinz and DJ Metatron, that feeling they've been building for years reached something close to perfection."
Besides Konstantin, German dj is also known for his alter ego project Herr Koreander and Kettenkarussell, the result of collaboration with Leafar Legov. Under Kettenkarussell they released 3 EPs and one highly acclaimed studio album, "Easy Listening".

What makes Konstantin outstanding as a selector is the way he combines tough and aggressive percussion with melancholic atmosphere. With this mix, Konstantin brings 85-minutes of sonic adventure into authentic and modern dance music. Throughout the mix, Giegling’s head does not limit himself to one genre, crossing up musical borders with carefully selected records.
