The track is a fantasy piece describing musically when a whale hears a guitar being played on land (with the birds singing) and responds accordingly - in a Whale's own way with long swooping sounds before heading back to the deep....us not knowing whether approving or disapproving......

SENSES

During the mid-1960s operation FOXGLOVE- a highly classified, five-man black ops task force designated to investigate reports of unnatural aural phenomena recorded at a secret governmental research site Breechlands.
Our agents attempted to establish contact with a highly advanced energy source at the site.
Upon contact, the agents were immediately consumed by a subharmonic spike of immense magnitude referred to as The Outerlude before disappearing without a trace, along with the energy source.
Some 60 years later the unit reappeared at the very source of the aural anomaly, having not aged a day.
Subsequent tests and countless hours of interrogation concluded the agents had no recollection of the incident whatsoever.
Upon further probing they were revealed to have a substantially heightened knowledge of astronomical star map data, far exceeding the information available to the 1960s, and surpassing much of what we know of the universe today.
Due to the information these men hold, and the potential threat to national and worldwide security, it is in the planet's interests that our tests continue to unearth who, or what, gave them this knowledge.

The Outerlude

I had a fun 140bpm mix with some of the excellent electronic music I have received recently, as well as a few non electronic songs, and some of my own tracks.. Winds down with a little 120bpm at the end, because I really didn't want to go to bed...

Some tracks have been massively pitched up, some pitched down, and some have been looped. 

It was all for the good of the country.

The Moon Fell out of the Sky

Michael Donoghue is a Rotherham born, Jersey based independent electronic artist, composing left-field electronica which draws in influences from several genres, including ambient electro, downtempo, techno, and IDM. 
 
Michael started to compose in 2017, releasing several singles and EP's under the pseudonym of Cosmosapien. In the summer of 2020, Michael stepped out from the shadows of his alter ego, and started releasing music under his own name. Since then he's released several singles and EP's, two solo albums, and a collaboration LP with fellow unsigned artist Pulses. In the process Michael has found himself on the radar of several independent radio shows, blogs, reviewers, and playlist curators. 
 
Several of Michael's tracks have been supported by BBC Music Introducing in the Channel Islands, and have also featured on many independent radio shows including Trust The Doc Radio, Supernova, In The Moog, and many more. He's made the coveted Fresh On The Net 'Fresh Faves' on several occasions, and in January 2022 gained his first national radio play, with ambient track 'Overview Effect' making a chill-out special on Jaguar's BBC Introducing Dance Show on Radio 1.

Michael continues to create and release music fairly prolifically, and in May 2023  had his first project released through a label - the ambient EP 'Island' which was put out by Irregular Frequencies.
