There is no support for the mentally ill here in San Jose, California- one of the richest cities in the state. This screaming man is not homeless and he has a more varied wardrobe than I do but he is mentally ill. 

I'm not annoyed or angered by his screaming- which occurs at all hours of the day and night- sometimes waking us up at 4am with the screams- I just feel sorry for him- that he isn't getting the help he needs.

I stop and listen to his screams- as to me its the true sounds of the failure of the experiment that is the United States of America.
