This is my cover of the 2003 song originally recorded by John Micheal Montgomery. Hope I do it some justice! This is also one of the tracks from my upcoming album which is mostly gonna be cover songs. This song has a special place in my heart as it relates to addiction. I have been clean and sober for nearly 4 years by the grace of God and my recovery program. as well as all the support from family and friends. Also I am third generation alcoholic cause my grampa was an alcoholic and my dad was a drug addict well he has been clean for wile now.  Also I didn't have the best up bringing but my parents did what they knew to do at the time. I would also like to dedicate this song to anyone who has grown up with this kinda thing in their life esp the young kids who are innocent and don't deserve to live such a crappy life. I pray the Lord ministers to u or convicts u through this song. Or whatever he wants to do.

I've been wanting to post this forever but hesitated because I didn't feel like it was finished but I let it go for a while but after listening to it yet again decided it was ready. Especially given the over 3000 plays on my cover of he touched me which was way worst quality. This is my cover of the folk song originally written and recorded by folk legend townes van zandt and was later re recorded by Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson and has also been covered by the likes of Steve Earle and Bob Dylan. My love for music started at a young age. By the age of fourteen I started writing, recording and performing. After being exposed to live music as an escape from the pressures of teen life. I found an outlet in beginning to express myself through music. I currently play solo and at times with a backup band. My repertoire includes multiple styles such as contemporary folk, country and rockabilly. My music has appeared in independent film festivals and continues to do so.I have performed at the 2010 and 2016 Regina Cathedral arts festival, and multiple gigs around Regina and surrounding area and also enjoy volunteering my talents.
