Written by band member Stephan Benson “Stand” is a protest song in it’s lyrics but takes an intersectional approach to societal criticism. In support of the upcoming American elections, movements including Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ+ and Civil Rights, Misunderstood feel this is a song that needs to be heard in today’s world as they say it captures the essence of exactly how they, among many others feel on a day to day basis.
