For this easter weekend we have for you the dynamic duo 2D1G, the founding members of the METRO collective. These two childhood friends, delivering mind-bending soundscapes that transport you to another dimension and let you shake your ass off. 

With a very long passion for electronic music, 2D1G brings a wealth of experience to this podcast. You're looking for a hypnotic journey through sound, these two have got you covered.

Their sets are a blend of hypnotic grooves, driving rhythms, and pulsating basslines that create an immersive sonic experience. 2D1G's sound is both timeless and innovative.

This thursdays podcast ist curated from our third METRO member Cheetah. She has been passionate about electronic music for a long time and it shows in her sound - a combination of trance, groove & proggy techno. The riving rhythms and basslines that will transport you to another dimension.

Grown on the dark site of germany, she now changed to the bright site, leipzig, to deepen her sound. Which is oriented towards groovy & melancholic trance but never restricted to it, trying to evoke the wish for dancing the nights away.

@spellya is a Leipzig based witch who started listening to electronic music 10 years ago. Inspired by her surroundings, which at that time still consisted of many exclusively male DJs, she thought to herself at some point: What they can do I can do too! Meanwhile she is connected with many Flinta DJs in Leipzig and has recently co-founded the post-techno collective  https://soundcloud.com/danke_klub A diverse taste in electronic music enables her to reinvent herself with each set. DJ ANMELDUNG (CH/DE), she/they grew up in Buenos Aires, among the underground techno scene in the city. From a very early age she was obsessed with the bass and the groove of music. Not so long ago she finally decided to start mixing and putting together all the knowledge from the last decade. Their style is based on a mix of sexy groovy Techno, Detroit House, Ghettotech among others that will make you dance with her queer vibes on the decks!

@Goldraver is the fast and trancy project of Vincent who co-founded the Leipzig based Danke Collective. He started Djing six years ago and started to work with Ableton to create tracks with the age of 14. 
In his Dj Sets he likes to mix old and new records in order to create a space of innovation. 
His mission is about to find new things in old records and traditional elements in new recordings. 
In this mix he focusses on stompy techno with a breeze of trance going from 145 to 158 BPM. Enjoy! <3

Time is flying... we have already arrived METRO STATION 11. Step in and enjoy the ride with @numanigoul, a DJ born in Argentina who moved to Germany as a kid, where he already had a passion for electronic music. With 15 years he learned to play vinyl but In the past year he found his passion to play on 3 decks with cdjs to create a unique sound. Now he is based in Freiburg and is known for his sweet selection of tribal, groove and shaky beats. Numa played for several collective Partys around the corner and more to come in near future.

METRO STATION 12 - DJ SPA

@midnxght_le is a dj & producer based in Leipzig, Germany. His various productions gained attention of a wider audience and made labels like @obscuurrecords, @coupprojekt and @hardest_soft release his music.
He reflects his dedication to rhythmically impulsive sounds and cross-genre elements in both his DJ sets and own productions. Characterized by driving percussions, heavy bass lines and always a red thread within the mix.
He recently joined the Berlin-based label @mitsu2000 as its newest member.

@ch4r20tte is a Leipzig-based DJ for the last three years. She mixes different genres like electro, hard techno and trance to create her own magic vibe . Recently she found her own style in progressively faster sounds like hypnotic tribe, tek and psytrance. Buckle up for an otherworldly journey to different places of existence!

Byte, a Berlin-based artist which creates his sets to provide a unique and refreshing take on rhythm and sound. His musical exploration delves into the tribal foundations of Techno, incorporating mesmerizing drum beats and captivating trance elements. Prepare to be transported to new dimensions as DJ Byte takes you on a journey through his intricate blend of tribal-infused Techno.

Born and raised in the sunny south of germany, the now Munich-based DJ and Producer, Danyalo, takes you on a  journey of mutual grooves and thriving flows. Drawing inspiration from his African roots, Danyalo adds a touch of African-based rythm layers to his groovy techno sound, infusing it with a hint of trance which cant be overheard in his productions and sets. So keep your butt checks ready to get moving!

itsadisasta is a lively and unpredictable character (as the name indicates) similar to a storybook figure. Within the Leipzig scene, itsadisasta is significantly active and engaged. They have organised and participated in many events, as well as contributing to the creation of the intersectional-feminist FLINTA* network called fem*vak @fem_vak , which aims to support and empower the FLINTA* in the electronic music scene.
Their light hearted approach, combined with not taking themselves too seriously, add a delightful touch to everything they do, but when needed, they are there to address any important topics such as awareness or transformative work.
Meanwhile itsadisasta has tried different music directions and doesn't want to stay with one. So almost every set sounds different. For metro.mp3 itsadisasta has created a lightful-trance-techno set with a constant 150 bpm.

WHLMS is a vinyl only DJ from the sunny south of Germany. His passion is the tireless search for forgotten rhythms, focusing especially on the hypnotizing hardgroove sound of the 90s and early 2000s. As co-founder of @untermradar.kollektiv, he jointly organizes events such as the Vinyl Night that shake up the club scene in Karlsruhe.

For Metro Station 23, DJ G1NA R. (@1_nga) wanted to try something completely different in terms of the vibe: The mix is much slower than her usual approach and more personal. Inspired by the first track, it's like a deep dive into unknown depths: crazy, scary, but also exciting. Again and again tension and relaxation and at the end the return to the surface.
Therefore she included lots of different styles (in this respect she remained true to herself): trance, house, techno, breaks and ambient, mostly with a mystical & dreamy touch 🧡💗✨

Ever since :мυмм was growing up he loved collecting and sharing music and started as a DJ more than a decade ago. Over the past few years he developed his own unique sound inspired by his childhood memories and nights spend in the clubs in and around Leipzig. His genre picking reaches from various styles such as Trance, Techno, House and even Italo-Disco.

Being part of the Vacanza Crew from Leipzig he’s not just responsible for the booking at events like Tarmac Festival but also established the „HeyCiao,Vacanza!“ venue at Elipamanoke and „Perfekte Welle“ at Neue Welle in Leipzig and besides that is one of the acts you don’t want to miss out on a club night or festival as many events had him seeing behind decks such as the very own organized Night on Earth at Kulturlounge, Institut für Zukunft, Elipamanoke, Tarmac Festival, Mahagoni Festival and Pittlerwerke or smaller private gigs and openairs.

Party with :мυмм never stops and especially his closing sets are something to watch out for as he keeps the crowd going for countless hours early in the morning.
