Title track of the album which is dedicated to Perotine Massey who, in the reign of Bloody Mary, was burned at the stake, she being pregnant: "And the said Masseys infant breaking violently out of the mothers wombe into the fire, was taken out once and presently throwne again into the fire and burnt." 1590

New Sincerity rejects postmodern irony, detachment, and cynicism, instead pursuing direct expression, vulnerability, and emotional resonance. This concept embodies a return to seriously and openly exploring one's emotions and the fundamental nature of things, without unnecessary, contrived meanings.
