Different form, same attitude. 

Times go back slowly to feel a bit more familiar, it takes some patience to understand where things are truly going, but I can only be thankful that you stayed around this project all this time. A pleasure to be on this little journey together.

This set is a compilation of my favorite productions over the last months, including releases in labels such as @LOKDbasel, @moodfamily and some inclusions from my upcoming album that will be out on @lautundluise in 2022.

Tune in on my set recorded @ Jupiter | Hanseatische Materialverwaltung (HMV im Exil) on 30/04/23, playing all Sunday afternoon with the sun smiling down at us. I was gifted with the perfect setting for getting out some of the finest tunes from my house collection, crafting a nice slo house ride, ranging from dub to deep to chicago. Be prepared for some good vibes, just hanging out on a sunday afternoon with friends to embrace the spring and this years first serious sun rays. Although “faster” than my previous sets, you should find yourself rewarded with some very deep and slow-rolling basslines that take it as easy as you are, accompanied with some sweet-savoury melodic grooves and topped off with some relaxing down-pitched vocals.

It took us a while but we finally got around to recording the set we played at fantastic emotional dream  Bucht der Träumer festival! We were happy to play a secret set just before Matanza during the official break on saturday (12:30-14:00) on our Transdanubia stage with the lovely dancer and people. A big thanks to the greats Felix & Baba to give us the opportunity and suport us , to the whole @gassen-aus-zucker & @heimlichaufsc crew as well as sali (sali.at), yvonne, micha, benjamin, toms @ast47, ivi, timo, balthasar, johannes, harald, nicole, sissi, töphi, philipp, rafi who were responsible for creating such a beautiful Transdanubia floor . Sorry for the mistakes.

Es regt sich was im Nest. An einem frischen Frühjahrsnachmittag öffnet der Kranich seine Augen. Er blinzelt ins goldene Licht der abstürzenden Sonne. Der Wind pfeift sachte übers Dach, während sich der Kranich an die letzte Nacht erinnerte. Überall stiegen Raketen in den Himmel, während die Feiernden im Kranich-Horst neujahrsselig übers Dach flanierten. Am Ende dieser langen Nacht, die im Vormittag des ersten Tag des Jahres mündete, fiel der Kranich in seinen langen Schlaf. Nichts brachte ihn aus der Ruhe. Nicht der Baulärm des Kranichs Mainzelmännchen, auch nicht der eiskalte Wind, der übers Deck pfiff. Erst die größer werdende Geschäftigkeit und die wärmer werdende Sonne weckten den Kranich aus seinem Schläfchen. Nun blickte die fedrige Anmut auf sein Domizil und sah die ersten Menschlein auf sein Neuköllner Domizil zurückkehren. Die erstan zaghaften Sonnenstrahlen erwärmen das Dach der Dächer und der Kranich macht sich für seinen ersten Abflug bereit. https://soundcloud.com/fernab-berlin lassen die Klänge von Kahl & Kæmena ihn aufhorchen, seine Flügel öffnen und los fliegen. Der seichte Beat, die verspielten Klänge legen sich wie ein zarte Windhauch unter seine Flügel und lassen den Kranich seine Runden über Neukölln ziehen. Die Klänge von Kahl & Kæmena sind ihm vertraut, das Berliner Duo ist Teil des fernab - Kollektivs, welches in etliche Festivals wie die Fusion, Zugvögel oder Bucht der Träumer involviert ist. Christian & Tronje verstehen es, ein DJ-Set mit Live eingespielten Elementen zu verfeinern und haben sich für diesen exklusiven Mix Moritz Ebert und sein Cello dazu geholt. Tronje spielt wie immer gekonnt das Piano und Christian mixt die Tracks ab. DANKE EUCH, für den wundervollen, musikalischen ABFLUG! und euch allen, einen entspannten Flug.

Abflug - Kahl & Kæmena (feat. Moritz Ebert)

Oh boy, time does fly by. It's been eight years now since the first Montagssorbet, eleven years since our first party and we admit we sometimes do lose track of everything that happened over the course of time. We honestly enjoy to reminisce, dig up old releases or listen to single tracks, because each and everyone is linked to specific memories. Most of them quite powerful, many with a subliminal feel of pure content and gratitude for all those friendships that evolved. A unique web of shared moments, connecting so many people we'd have a hard time counting them. 

To this point though we never had the pleasure to listen to a whole mix combining these memories. Many thanks to @Mmmaaaeeesss who compiled this set with tracks from all 41 releases up to today, including all 7" Luettje Luise, which is a novum by itself considering they are vinyl only. Like sprinkling diamonds over a gem: »Mit Uns« took a quick break from everyday's hustle to reunite for a long overdue round of hand crafted musical glory. 

We hope you all enjoy this personal anthem as much as we did and maybe find some personal memories lying within aswell.
