10 is a number that looks very nice. Fresh and friendly it says: „Hey Hello, look, now we are two“ ...the 1 and the 0. The binary base of your civilization. Somehow we got the feeling, we should honor this. Why so ever, lets just do it, because it is beautiful, beacuse our music that we record and produce is also just a binary code, transforming over and over again, from our fingers on the synths, from the mic to the mixer, from the mixer into space, back on black plastics or bluetoothing through your walls directly in your ear...and this just because there is a 1 and a 0. This is why we celebrate, to say thank you to these magic numbers. Without these two little friends we would drum our techno with bones in analog caves. Naked. Oh Wait...that sounds great...the URSL Cave Raves. Mmmmh...well we will keep you in the loop on this new project. In the meantime you can listen to some electronic music from Canson, Christian Hülshoff and Zebra Centauri.

A regular on many era-defining labels (from Anjunadeep to Crosstown Rebels), we are especially proud that Just Her has entrusted us with what we consider to be her one of her most accomplished releases to date.

The two brand new originals on show pick up where last year's chart-topping 'Will We Ever Learn' left off. 'Upon the Horizon' once again seeing Claire herself on vocal duties, her sweetly melancholic delivery sitting atop a veritable chugger, all drenched in sumptuous melody. Whilst the breaks driven 'This Life', with its haunting piano refrain and clipped vocal snatches, sounds like a 90s breakbeat classic put through a 2022 electronica blender.

And as if that wasn't intoxicating enough, this fearsome threesome is completed by a remix we've had to sit on for a little while, but which has been causing maximum excitement at Selador HQ. Watergate Berlin resident DJ, Jamiie has been on our radar for some time, and the aforementioned 'Will We Ever Learn' seemed like a great fit for a Jamiie remix. And so it has proved, as she delivers a wonderfully atmospheric peak time version excursion set to be heard on all discerning floors for months to come.'

Mexico's excellent Teanmpa Recordings returns with yet more goodness, as we've come to expect from this fine imprint. Artists are remixers for the label have included him_self_her, AFFKT, H2, James Teej, Art Of Tones, Dave Seaman, Stelios Vassiloudis, Bunte Bulmer and a whole stack more.

Here steps up a new French producer Anthony Godwin aka THe WHite SHadow, an artist we really don't know much about, but we are sure you will be hearing more from very soon. This EP proves his worth, two tracks perfect for late nights, and his future is certainly looking bright.

Two great tracks, starting with 'The Sky', a phat synthy moody melodic winner, sounding as fresh as a daisy, full of attitude and ready to do some serious damage.

And then we find 'Flying', an undulating melodic voyage with blippy arps and a chunky electronic futuristic synth. Phat, and we love it.

After impressing with his contribution to 'Watergate 25', emerging Spanish talent Upercent steps up for his first full-length EP on the label. In recent years the Valencia native has emerged with releases on labels of the ilk of Kompakt, Diynamic and the tastemaker favourite microCastle Records. We got our first taste of his talents on Watergate Records when the superb 'La Lluita' featured exclusively as part of 'Watergate 25 - Adana Twins' compilation. Late last year he made his debut at the club, where his distinctive aesthetic connected naturally. The new 'Flor De Lotus EP' exemplifies this style; a fusion of organic and analogue, Upercent's productions are always thoughtful and emotive. 'Somia' is laden with cosmic synths, hints of the Mediterranean, and a dance-ready beat to boot. The intricate percussion evident in 'Somia' carries through in 'Pulcre'; another rhythmic piece infused with an enigmatic vocal and a pulsating bass that continues to build throughout. 'Flor De Lotus' culminates with a high-energy, late-night remix of 'Pulcre' from Romanian DJ/Producer BOg, who also graced the 'Watergate 25' compilation.

Subconsciousness, imagination and dreams are recurrent themes the duo Pandhora questions through their creations. Their latest EP, ‘Imaginary Crossroads' is no exception as it explores the thin line between dreams and reality, and how they interact through memories. This 3-track mind travel ventures through colorful soundscapes. Featuring hypnotic guitar riffs, psychedelic synth melodies and powerful bass lines, it yet has a sensitive and authentic approach to it. It is also a special release as it marks a new path the duo wishes to follow: freeing themselves from the conventions while shaping a more progressive and club-oriented sound.

Opening the EP, ‘Reveries' has been the closing track of Pandhora's ‘Deep Psychedelia' Live Act since 2018. To create its emotional impact, it relies on euphoric guitar licks, a deep growling bass line, and evolving organic textures. As every mind quest starts with thoughts wandering around, `Reveries' aims at portraying how these loose thoughts can shift consciousness smoothly. A means of transport into an imaginary world, slipping away from cold reality towards bright and comforting surreal horizons. 

The following track ‘Memories' is uplifting, dreamy and filled with silky sounds and soothing melodies. It features the vocalisations of jazz singer Sanguinello who has been a long time collaborator of the French duo. In contrary to dreams, memories are rooted in reality. They are some sort of photographed experiences the mind enjoys to replay, mostly in order to recreate emotions from the past. Through this piece, the duo aims to unfold that rush of adrenaline one can feel within a joyful souvenir.

With its singular format ‘Castle In The Sky' closes this EP with grace and style. Its abstract composition illustrates the merging of these two states of mind, when dreams and memories blend to create a deep feeling of calmness and uplifting melancholia. On a more personal note, the track is also a tribute to Mobi, a lovely golden retriever who briefly shared Pandhora's daily life and abruptly passed away in 2019. 

Floating Consciousness includes remixes from Rasi Z and Rapossa. Their reshapes enrich the duo's creation by opening it up to new interpretations. Vancouver-based producer Rasi Z re-arranged ‘Memories' into a flawless dance track, making use of his delicate sound design skills while Russian rising artist Rapossa produced a disco flavored remix of ‘Reveries', emphasizing on retro synthesized sounds and electronic drums.
