It says a lot that, from the two tracks we recorded in summer 2010 with ex-Freak Power vocalist Ashley Slater, this jaunty little disco number is the one we chose to play on the live album, as opposed to the chosen single, Personality, released in November '10. We weren't altogether happy with how those sessions turned out, but this song remains a decent up-tempo stomper that we occasionally still play a year on.

One of our newest tunes when we did the live record, we almost didn't play Break Ya Hip. However, being a huge RnB banger, we had to pull it out the bag, and what a good choice that was. The crowd really went wild, and if they're having fun then so are we. The synth bass doesn't come across very well on the live recording but I have a feeling you might not have heard the last from this one...

The last track on the live album, but not in fact the final song we played that night - it was bit of a blinder, so the crowd were going wild for Hot Times, and we didn't want 20 minutes of that nonsense clogging up the record. Plus we already knew we weren't including it, so we stopped playing well - it was like letting your gut sag out when all the girls have left the room. We don't play this one any more, but due to the dance moves (which you can't see) and the MJ/JB cover, it was a firm favourite with audiences whether they were die-hard fans or brand new converts.

From the Ashley Slater sessions back in the day. Recorded at the same time as Personality, this is actually pretty good. Verse lyrics by Christian, Chorus lyrics by C-Dogg, tune by the whole band (it was Rob and Grills era, as opposed to the current Aramis and Ed years). Lyrics are about a girl who goes cold quick. We all know that one, don't we guys?! Go ahead and download! The keyboards and effects weren't our idea (Rob and Ashley stayed late in the studio and got a bit buck-wild) but we never got a chance to get rid of them, so here they are for the rest of eternity.
