We're so excited to share Yant's recording from our first party back after a long 18 month lockdown. 
We're proud to have witnessed Andy's journey to becoming an incredible DJ/ producer pushing a unique sound and continuing to put Manchester on the map where Techno in concerned. We consider ourselves privileged  to have played a part in his growth and don't need to tell you twice; he's one to watch out for. 

In his own words: 

"To end the year I wanted to share a special live recording from the first weekend back after the UK's lockdown. I played 2 hours for the Meat Free party here in Manchester, which if you don't know already, is a Manchester favourite. Run by an amazing crew of ladies who do a lot for the scene, and are super supportive, and close friends. This was an outdoor party, a sunny day, with everyone raring to go non stop, with a huge stack of F1's down a long outdoor tunnel... I was pretty happy with how the set went and definitely fed off the energy around that we could finally release after being cooked up inside. You can hear it on the recording, at points we mixed in the crowd noise, but didn't keep this through the whole set as the cheers & whistles didn't stop. Neither did the dancing 🕺 I will always have a memory of that day. It was special and at the city i'd call home. Enjoy x

From breaking through in the early 90s right when things were still done wild, helming the legendary Lost club nights from 1992 onward, onto becoming a pioneering figure of the UK's underground, it's safe to say Steve Bicknell ticks all the boxes of a self-made myth in the scene. Tirelessly pushing the boundaries of techno as we know it, the British don has been carving out his name in gold letters amongst the pantheon of DJs capable to evolve and transcend both themselves and their audience through the cathartic power of music. Always a step ahead, Bicknell treats us to two hours of resolutely immersive and achingly powerful soul-search, seamlessly criss-crossing our brains with his top-of-the-range anti-bullshit techno medicine. ☉ About the mix:
"For this podcast I wanted to present a selection that I don't usually play when I perform, as my sound is characterised by being faster and more dancefloor-oriented. I love techno in many of its versions. For this, I wanted to use this space to develop a two-hours mix leaded by sci-fi sounds and minimalist melodies, all paced at a slower BPM than I usually work with. The set unfolds slowly, with no abrupt cuts or quick mixes. Everything has its place and time. I started with a long intro and ended with a long outro, blending one ambient track with another quite interference heavy one. Eventually, I also included some material released on my sub-label Null Warp, where the sounds are more focused on this type of techno, and of course I added some of my own tracks."

Alberto Serrano, known artistically as Biorc, is a prominent DJ and producer based in Madrid, co-owner of Ethnic Meeting and Null Warp recordings Biorc's music has been recognized in legendary clubs and supported by industry renowned artists, establishing him as a significant emerging figure in the underground techno scene. Biorc has released 2 albums and 10 EPs, reflecting his meticulous approach to sound design, and has signed his music with labels such as Newrhythmic, Illegal Alien, and Diffuse Reality, among others.
Focusing on dark and hypnotic techno sets, he is known for blending the mental with the physical, featuring long mixes and precise equalization. His artistic vision, combined with technical expertise and an unwavering dedication to the genre, positions him as a significant emerging figure in the ever-evolving narrative of underground electronic music.

Over the last few years we have built a steady relationship doing events together and sharing our passion for this music.  We are teaming up once again for ADE 2018 and releasing this mix as a thank you to all our followers and supporters.
