A bizarre, surreal and grotesque pantomime, in which the Unconscious (based on Jung’s thories) is explored, inside a mind afflicted by a personality disorder.

After the whirl and creation, we finally reached the final chapter: the funeral. Leading us to a Shakespearean reborn, but sentenced to survive in an eternal loop, until the end of time.

Dark Ancient Krell Music

As an ancient, bizarre and grotesque craftsman, we were able to create God from our innards, shaping her-him into a stunning inanimated doll, which we can slithly feel but cannot own as a part of ourselves. We can just fear her-him, but always in chains we linger together until the end of time.


Is now available “Art Has No Diplomacy” the new Mebitek’s album, released in co-production with the Sardinian factory Nootempo.net (which has already produced artists like Randagiu sardu, Gangalistics, Quilo Sa Razza, Paolo Indeo, Andrea Locci, Flub and many others) .Claudio Melis "Mebitek" presents his new album, thirteen new original tracks, including collaboration of different artists like Quilo Sa Razza, Pandro, Gangalistics, 10Jonct, Larissa, Daniele Porta. The artwork was made by A.Sanna from undas.net, photography by Gabriella Floris. 

Art Has No Diplomacy is a deep album full of cinematic atmospheres with dark sound environment that explores the unconscious and bring the listener in an introspective journey. Mebitek‘s music is a mix of visual dark and refined suggestions, acid beats travelling through orchestral soundscapes. An experimental and innovative musical approach that contains a social message pointing the light on anguish and human loneliness. An amazing work realized in Sardinia, showing once again a powerful artistic collaboration that goes beyond the sea creating connections between different artists , our island has produced independent high quality music and artistic projects. 

The new album, officially released on 9th March, 2017, is available on CD in a special limited edition and in the most common digital stores. 
The new release will be followed by a first video-single extract from the album, "MebiStep (Beget Movement)".

"The Mourning Path" is an indipendent short movie realised by the Sardinian artists Mebitek and JeleRaus.
It is the story, and the point of view, of a young woman, Kate, who experienced her greatest loss: her life - but also the loss of all those painful episodes which mark each and every existance - letting them go by facing them one last time.
Her path to oblivion, strongly desired, is marked by the encounter with her most oppressive obsessions and sufferings, which are personified, anthropomorphised, a quintessence of desperation.
The last Boss, exactly as inside a videogame, represents the Electra complex, not in a Freudian point of view, but mostly in a literary sense.
In this work, identity - art - technology are inextricably intertwined: in fact the art medium used is technology itself, especially in the editing phase, in which this aspect played an essential role, without which the objective wouldn't have been reached.
Here, identities represented by the artistic medium are more than one: the woman, seen as a daughter, as a protagonist, as a desperate and strong entity, but hopefully never stereotyped; the father, who is also represented in many different ways within the project; the entities and identities which personify everyone's life phases, framed in an unsettling but at the same time liberating scenography. But in a way it also represents a community of people's identity, whose shared imagines and beliefs shaped a collective imagination which can be represented and read in multiple ways.
Therefore, this project is a manifestation of the union between identity - art - technology.

Lonely and Deeply (The Mourning Path Original Soundtrack)

Few day s ago I received the 8dio Hybrid Tools Eternal Darkness for Kontakt library.

It's a focused collection of unsettling, dark and hauntingly beautiful horror-based trailer sound effects so it will be perfect to expirement it on my dark cinematic music style.
Actually I'm preparing my brand new full lenght album so what a great occasion to test the library to add to my finished tracks some more cinematic touch.
The library is well organized and the user interface is very intituite so you can start using it very fast.
Eternal Darkness contains hundreds of sounds, from processed vocals and synthetic-based haunting risers, to synchronized patterns and pulses, to dark and insidious impacts and boomers.

The main interface presents a list of instruments categories (13) that can be stacked to create unique and evolving sounds.
A great feature is the possibility to use a gate in combination with a sequencer to animate your sounds more.
Then you can continue tweaking your sound with a dedicated fx page (Filters, a 3 Band EQ, Stereo Delay, Bit Crusher, Distortion, Dual-Convolution Reverb).

Great sonority exploriation power.

I enjoy this library so much and I decided to create a quick and short experimental score using just the 8dio Hybrid Tools Eternal Darkness for Kontakt library inside my usual maschine workflow.
