Mecca shouldn't need any introduction at this stage, his high-octane blend of next-level drum science, tribal funk and dark sci fi atmospherics all tempered by the ear for melody, rhythm and atmosphere that are the hallmarks of his productions. Now living in Dublin having been based near the Subtle Audio camp in Limerick, the London-born beatsmith has added a vinyl releases on Skeleton Recordings, and AKO Beatz to his list of achievements, having already released music through Subtle Audio Recordings as well as hammering out an impressive list of DJ engagements in Ireland, UK, and China over the past 20 years.
