noumenal_waves is a compilation from 14 different artists each exploring silence, textural sound, and of ambient noise and sound in relation to their own individual styles of electronic music. 

This VA marks the beginning of Intersum_Season One - a short curated series of releases exploring ambient, dub, echoes and drones. 

Season one will be part of an effort to work towards a conjuration of the ineffable and a traversal of ethereal otherness.

Bill Bass aka Mechanist is an artist/producer/remixer/label owner based in Southampton, England. 
In his 10+ year journey he has covered many styles of music all bound together by a devotion to minimalist instrumentation and arrangement. 

During this time he has released with labels such as Silent Season, NFEREE, Space Textures and Circular Limited - and continued to develop his idiosyncratic style that draws as much from the current deep and hypnotic techno as it does from 90s and 00s progressive and trance music.
