Mechatronicast number 27 comes courtesy of Strasbourg's finest: @itako.

Itako has been exploring all corners of electronic music and as a DJ and producer he captures a certain adventurous, all killer-no filler attitude & sound in his productions and DJ sets that make them distinctively him. Playing with both trends and nøn-trends, in his mixes and through the evolution of his releases as well, he serves masterful concoctions of chugging acid, psychedelic industrial, breaks heavy bass music and trippy techno. The quality and range of his output is undeniable seeing his releases on labels as Sonic Groove, Lone Romantic, Reach Another System, Samo and Samet. He is based in Strasbourg where he is a resident at club Karmen Camina, one of European nightlife's hidden gems. The mix he recorded for us is an excerpt of one of these booming nights at Karmen Camina; 1,5 hours of trippy, underground goodness for the heads.

The Aid EP II additionally enables us to provide a bit of work for our mastering engineer, also a DJ and producer, financially impacted by event cancellations.

All sales will be split 50/50 between the artists and ourselves, after production costs have been recouped.
