After a short break we're super happy to be back with our mix series, inviting our favourite artists back into the tub to splash about and showcase their sound. 

To kick it off we're stoked to have the fantastic Ole Mic Odd dive in and lay down this killer 90s techno mix. We've been fans of the LA based DJ and producers for a while, with his raw and authentic sound always hitting the right spot. He's had some amazing releases over the year, including on some of our favourite labels, such as Source Material and Hilltown Disco, among others!

This was a very special show for me - it felt like a full circle moment going b2b with the lovely @hewizee on Netil Radio last month - we started off as online, tune-sharing penpals so it was the sweetest thing to be able to share music with each other in real life <3

For this show we stuck mostly to our shared passion - trance - with a few sidesteps into more playful, percussive tracks and deep, hypnotic techno. Enjoy!

Between Seoul and Paris, Soyoon moved to France at age 13. Tapes and records’ collector since a young age, the artist knows how to offer a harmonious selection without ever being locked into a particular genre: trance Goa, ebm, everything goes. 

Soyoon does her first Boiler Room next to Ron Morelli, then she shares turntables with Budino, Vladimir Ivkovic, JP Enfant, Oliver Hafenbauer, Krossfingers, Lauri Soini et S.O.N.S. Today, she is one of the rising stars of the French music scene. 

Sharp in her selection, she animates a monthly show on Rinse France, and since last year, she is a resident at Macadam (Nantes). You can also find her at 宀 club in Hong-Kong.

Neptunian Influence, Fifty-Three | Featuring @kafkactrl

Hiding in the shadow of a big white mountain, the mysterious KafkaCtrl escapes his data hustling job by crafting cold and infectious electro full of melancholic pads and gut-punching basslines. You can find his music on EPs for @vortex-traks and @zementrecordings as well as other appearances on labels like @noisetomeetyourecords, @brokntoys and @crobotmuzik. We'll be watching for what this French electro producer brings next!
