Since finding out about Whitney's portion of the Useful Idiots podcast getting axed, I've been reviewing her interviews and finding new ones in the process. Wish I would have stopped here sooner. Abby's question about the who/what/why of the Acosta response "leaked" by the Trump transition team clicked with something odd in the Useful Idiot Epstein podcast that remains. There are two spots in the Rolling Stone podcast (23:25 and 40:55) where instead of expanding on the intelligence angle, Matt Taibbi (via an odd edit and a quick jump into the conversation) skips over the part about "Epstein was intelligence" coming from the Trump transition team. Instead he first pushes the idea that Vicky Ward asked Acosta directly and follows by implying this was directly reported to Ward from Acosta.

Considering this: "A year and a half later, a jury convicted Libby of obstruction of justice and perjury in his grand jury testimony and making false statements to federal investigators about when and how he learned that Plame was a CIA agent." it may be important.
