All these takes are really off, it's like you're concentrated on the spin of media, when the real story is widely available because anyone with a smartphone can share all this in real time and it's totally available on twitter and telegram. I'm really not sure what you guys are watching, but it's definitely NOT THE RIGHT THINGS.

In Germany it certainly hasen't died down. It seems to pretty mainstream (even among self proclaimed "leftists") to call for not buying Russian fuel and arming Ukrainian fighters because they see more casualties, as if more war would prevent that? Nobody with a (social) media presence seems to want diplomacy and pulling nato back. It's horrifying rith now in Europe. Getting gas from Quatar is sold as the lesser evil and many people happy that Germany can now openly supply arms (until now it was done through loopholes to get it to conflict zones)

Just nazis torturing Sinti and Romanies  - I first saw those pictures claiming soliders were capturing looters and thought "probably some ethnicity right wingers are targeting".

Also the Ukrainian nazis are an officila part of the military which Europe and the US are arming - not the Russian ones.

Great episode guys. According to a new poll, 35% favor U.S. military action even if it risks nuclear conflict with Russia. I guess there aren't enough Netflix shows that portray the realistic effects of such war, and your typical Marvel/DC "we the good win, they the bad lose" prevails, cause people have no friggin clue. It sort of makes us realise why people are so susceptible to pro-war narratives. We're so ignorant that we think going against a nuclear power is like going against a relatively small Middle-Eastern or North-African state. There's still so much of that US vs Rus in our entertainment and the US always coming out victorious, the result of this poll is hardly surprising.

Very scary episode....enough that I'm starting to buy canned food en masse and making myself a coat of paint that has potassium iodide in it...and if the shit-ton of snow we had this year wasn't still there 6 to 8 feet in my backyard still (we get days above 0c but still very cold nights down to even -9c still around here)...I'd plant some food that shows up early. Although I think there's quite the element of fear porn here, the State Dept constantly saying "oh President Biden said that cos he was very emotional, it does not reflect the position of the US"....German troops going in there to protect the biolabs....that's literally a NATO country acting unilaterally there, something I don't think would have happened, like cutting Nord Stream 2 when 90% done if Merkel was still chancellor, she had that frienemy relation with Putin. I think stuff like weather warfare is being deployed by Russia to mess w/ a good portion of the west's crops this spring,at this point they cant be blamed

The hate crime here in Ireland was more of a PR move if you ask me. I will say the way that news presenters have spoken to the Russian ambassador during interviews is astounding.

The main problem is that America has taken on those obligations that it no longer wants to fulfill. The Budapest memorandum provided that the US and Britain would send their armies to support Ukraine. You gave weapons... We gave atomic weapons (Ukraine had them) for security guarantees that EVERYONE sneezed at. And are we Nazis after that? Dear authors, do you know anything about the Holodomor?
