It is hypocritical to use these services like FB, Google while also protesting them. BUT you also have to consider fact that they are virtual monopolies who gobble up their competition unimpeded by hook or by crook. We should protest the fact that these are monopolies that we are all dependent upon. Monolithic market capture is dangerous for democracy, and that is their goal.

That's why decentralized platforms, hell even just good old IRC is the best way to coordinate protest and direct action without much scrutiny by bigtech
