Foehn & Jerome are two long time partners who play as one. For more than twenty years they have dedicated themselves to sound, not as a role, but as a practice. From repairing synthesizers to playing records, their world has always revolved around craft. If something breaks in the studio, people know who to call. As Jerome once put it, playing records is simply what he does, and what he does best.

This attitude runs through everything they touch. Humble from the inside out, yet carrying a quiet class that never needs to announce itself. Their presence at Get Perlonized, invited by Zip himself, and their recent release on Perlon are not milestones to be advertised, but natural outcomes of years spent listening closely and working with intention.

Perfumed Freedom is a name many will recognize. Their long running series at Club der Visionaere and Hoppetosse has become a point of return for those who know. Anyone who has spent time there understands how their sound lingers, radiating outward and quietly pulling you back for the next session.

That same feeling carries through their Meoko mix. Recorded at Club Guesthouse in Bucharest, alongside the usual suspects, it unfolds with an ease that only comes from experience. Transitions dissolve into one another, leaving room for gentle vocals to rest on minimal yet driving rhythms. Nothing is rushed and everything feels considered.

It is the kind of mix that stays with you for a while, leaving you curious about how it all fits together so effortlessly.

Since 2004, Alin Crihan has been quietly crafting his skills in the fields of production
and dj-ing. Born and raised in Targu-Mures, a small, quiet town in the heart of
Transylvania, the seeds of his passion for music were planted from an early age,
taking various shapes and forms.
A turning point came in 2009 when he moved to Bucharest, where he continues to
grow and evolve into deeper and more experimental territories. Debut releases
came in early 2015 on labels such as Naural and Sammy Dee’s Ultrastretch. Over
the last 20 years, more than 60 12” vinyl releases carry Alin’s name in one alias or
another, either as Crihan or as his alteregos Discret Popescu or Modest Ionescu.
Behind the decks you can catch him playing in lineups that include Petre
Inspirescu, Raresh or Rhadoo and also Zip, Valentino Kanzyiani, Konstantin,
Maayan Nidam and many more, in various venues from his adoptive Bucharest at
clubs like Guesthouse or festivals like 3 Smoked Olives, Sunwaves, or places
across Europe like Club der Visionaere or Robert Johnson, and many more across
the continent as well as in North and Central America, North Africa or the near or
far East.

Andrei Ciubuc is part of the new wave of Romanian producers and DJs, driven by a clear mission: to bring fresh air into the Romanian house and techno underground. With a sound rooted in groove, depth, and subtle experimentation, he represents a generation focused on pushing boundaries while staying true to the essence of underground electronic music.

He is the founder of Draganenii, his own imprint, which launched with Kozo on its first release and has more projects in the pipeline from highly respected artists working under different pseudonyms — pure music for music’s sake.
