You will begin to hear a humming drone sound from a shrutti box at about 5 minutes in. I recommend humming along with this, the goal being to feel the vibration from our chest up into the face- you should be humming with some power to feel the vibration physically. It can help to hold your lips in an "O" shape like your are blowing out a candle. This can help you to get to a state of deep awareness much faster.

This track is a live recording from a sound journey I did for my wife testing out the recording - but I loved it so much I decided to post it.  The instrumentation includes a couple wind gongs, a few cymbals, Himalayan bowls, one crystal bowl, a chakapa, various wind chimes, autoharp, pan drum and I am making the electronic and white noise via synths on my iPad.

Celestial Sound Journey ¥

This is the first track of a series I thought of doing called "Lunch Snax".  These are short sound meditations I wanted to create at a length when you can just take a break for 10 minutes and check in with yourself and step into the internal void.  

I hope you find these handy even for a quick break from work or if you can just take a few minutes to get away from responsibilities.  After all, it is very likely they will still be there waiting for you in 10 short minutes.  

This first track consists of all metal instruments including a few wind gongs, Himalayan bowls, cymbals, and some chimes and bells played by myself.  

Hope you enjoy and please do not turn this up too loud the first time listening - still new to the complexities of mixing.

Metal Escapes Meditation

Here’s my second Lunch Snax meditation track (meant to be tracks that are shorter for quick meditations during the work day) – I really like how this came out, including the muffled sounds of passing automobiles (I ended up kinda liking it), autoharp and crystal bowls. I hope you find it soothing and that it guides you to a state of pure awareness.

The void is a profound space, and my goal with this short track is to help you experience it.  Enjoy this as a quick 10 minute break from work or whenever you need one.

Autos In Space Meditation

I decided to remake my Celestial Journey mix and make it a bit more interesting and i would say more psychedelic.  I wanted to use some new effects and see what I could do to spice it up - I really like some of the trippy drones and gong.  Hope you enjoy!

Macrodose Sound Journey

This track was created on a creative whim after I received a long awaited new flute from Portugal made of Walnut.  I made this fully using my iPad and AUM as my DAW.  It starts with some ambient conversation and then you get some gritty synth coming in along with granulized/distorted flute like it is waking you out of a slumber.  Then busting through the veil I bring in some drums and more bass heavy synth.  A more high tempo and experimental piece I am really proud of.  Really enjoying learning production with iPads.

Hello and welcome!  My name is Louie and I create sonic explorations under the name MediSynth.
