Please enjoy this arrangement of “O’Carolan’s Welcome”  by Ireland’s most renowned and prolific 17th-century composer. Turlough O’Carolan (1670-1738)

Interestingly, this particular tune remained nameless for much of its five hundred-plus years. It wasn’t until quite recently that The Chieftains, the legendary Irish musical group, bestowed upon it the name “O’Carolan’s Welcome.”

Working with Roxane Genot on this arrangement was wonderful. Her musical expertise and passion for medieval and baroque music perfectly complemented my own Celtic background. Together, we aimed to honor O’Carolan’s original composition while bringing our unique interpretation to the piece. We hope you will enjoy our arrangement of “O’Carolan’s Welcome.”
