The Retro Racer portion of this ReFill features 100 Europa patches designed in collaboration with synthwave artist DJ Flash Peters, each with their own Combinator 2 housing for more retro flavour. With dreamy FM bells, lush DCO poly’s and fat rolling bass these patches will send you back in time. If that isn’t enough for you GHS06 includes Retro Wavetables Vol 1, to help you craft you’re very own Europa patches.

The One Shot portion houses 56 key matched patches ranging from mega toms to sweeping analogue bass. Drive through the night with expansive pad chords, brooding horror basses and retro futuristic plucks. Make sure to utilise pitched drum risers, tuned percussion and evolving filter synths with these NNXT’s and Combinator 2’s.

A library of over 267 WAV Drum machine hits with 12 purpose built Kong and Combinator 2 kits. Outrun the future with the Miami Kit or dial up your beat with the AOL kit. Need an 80s pop drummer? Not anymore with this selection of aged studio kits, at least they do sound great for retrowave. To top it off, the bass sounds from these drum machines have been mapped to NNXTs in the One Shot section.

GHS06 is created by sampling the Akai XR10, Roland R-5 (Human Rhythm Composer), Roland JU-06A, Roland JD-08, Roland JX-08, Alesis MIDIVERB II and Lexicon MX400. Retro Wavetables Vol 1 samples the Casio CZ5000, Roland D-05, Alesis Ion, Roland JP8000, Roland JU-06A, Moog Werkstatt-01 and Roland SH-01A.

The GHS06 (Original Soundtrack) by DJ Flash Peters is made solely using the GHS06 ReFill with the exception of some mastering effects on the mixdown.

Media Blackout welcomes Barcelona based duo Boysinadisco with their latest release, a cover of the classic Tears for Fears song 'Shout' featuring Claude van Drum, with remixes from Medsound, Rafael Lambert and Tony Handle.

The upcoming duo has been a regular in many top artist playlists, constantly showcasing their huge originality and versatility without ever disappointing. Their affair with sound "through heart, hands and computer tools" has led to a raft of successful releases and remixes, and this is no exception. Part deep house, part driving four to the floor house; his remix of is ode to house music that creates a mood that's perfect for any dance-floor.

The first remix comes from none other than Media Blackout all-star Medsound, who to people in the known is a true master of the craft. He drops a stunning remix of 'Shout!' a modern beach house jam with all the right elements. The bouncy bass and great synth arrangements create a sexy, provocative atmosphere while the vocals make words settle in truly magical fashion, creating a warm felt atmosphere that creates special memories every time you listen to it.

Next up we have Rafael Lambert make a welcome return to the label, this time around he teamed up with partner in crime Tony Handle. The guys deliver a remix which focuses on the melodic side, by cleverly chopping the beats and vocal for the opening part oft he track to create a moody and emotional vibe, which in combination with some swinging drums half way thru establishes so much positive energy that it takes you right to any happening island house club at sunset in the world, emphasizing the vast musical spectrum this release has on offer.

Siraiva (@siraiva) ft. PipaMoran (@pipamoran) come together for their first release on Media Blackout with a vibed out sonic love story titled ‘Chance’. Together, that have crafted a song that instantly pays off on first listen, but delivers in new ways every time you hear it. Pipa Moran has a uniquely R&B flavor to her vocals that melt effortlessly into the nu-disco sensibility that Siraiva brings to his music.

Douze (@_douze) is Arnault Douze Esteve, a young French producer. First discovered by Kris Menace, he would later become the protégé of the German producer. Their collaboration led on to several tracks produced together on Kris's "Idiosyncrasies" first album followed by a handful of EPs. To this day, Kris and Douze continue to work together - with Douze appearing on Menace’s albums “Features” and forthcoming project “Sun, Moon & Stars” in collaboration with Simon Lord. Following this, Douze worked with another titan of the French house music scene, Alan Braxe, the results of which are still under lock and key in Braxe’s own production vault.

The Barcelona producer has been regular in many top artist playlists, known for his luscious beach and chill sound

Medsound managed to progress thru an array of music styles over the years, with his first steps into the world of music in the 90’s, playing in different Indie Rock bands, before he started evolving and growing into the electronic music producer he is today.

His particular vision of electronic music has a big influence from 80’s music and vintage gear 
​
He is an enthusiast and collector of analogue classic synthesisers and the ‘old school’ way of mixing with hardware in the studio
​
In 2017 he founded Beach Lounge Records, where he releases part of his productions since then, and promoting releases of new talented producers 
​
Besides music he has produced several popular sample libraries for brands like Zenheiser, Sample Magic, Splice and designed presets libraries for Synthesisers 

He feels confortable as a studio producer, but he always likes to find time and events where to DJ and feel live music
​
Besides his home town Barcelona, Medsound calls Formentera, Balearic Islands, with which he has had a great bond since childhood, his second home. The island serves him as base during the summer, a place he uses to gather inspiration and to soak up the warm felt atmosphere, which he employs into what has become his legendary signature sound.
