Psi: Tales of Neptune

From the planetary series of soundtracks and works dedicated to each planetary body, Psi: Tales of Neptune dives in the abyss of ocean, the divine feminine and the world of dreams. Seven journeys of meditations and electronic experimentations. The album begins with a surface to air from the depths of the water body, swimming through various water states and ends as a merging and surrendering to the higher realms. 

As with all Kris Vango's planetary works, each sonic landscape invites the listener to space travel inwards to the planet to explore their deeper metaphysical and astrological themes, beyond the realm of astronomy and physics.

This EP is my journey into soothing soundscapes, where each piece pulses with a soft, comforting energy.

DAY084 | Boreal - Floating in Between [Daydreamers]

The collaboration between Denis and Andrea began through a shared admiration for each other's music. Andrea first discovered Denis’ work and was immediately drawn to its nostalgic, dreamlike quality—like shimmering childhood memories preserved on tape. The emotional depth and analog warmth of his sound resonated deeply, inspiring her to reach out and connect.

What followed was an organic creative exchange. Working remotely, the two artists began trading sketches, gradually shaping them into fully formed compositions. Their process was instinctive and fluid, guided by a mutual understanding and a shared curiosity for sound exploration.

Above is the result of this collaboration—a five-track EP that weaves together delicate melodies, textured layers, and the tactile charm of analog instruments. The duo experimented with tonal shifts, ambient spaces, and randomized samplers, crafting a sonic landscape that feels both intimate and expansive.

The aesthetic of the release is rounded out by Denis’ analog photography, adding a visual dimension that echoes the warmth and timelessness of the music. Above invites listeners into a quiet world of reflection, where sound and memory gently intertwine.
