As the opening song on the EP 'ACTIVELY' comes in with hard-hitting bass, snares hi-hats and an ominous melody complimented well with Mass' snazzy lyrics and watery flow. Very gang activity-like, 'ACTIVELY' wastes no time in letting the audience know the triumphs of Mass'  financial and artistic progression but also downfalls of his love interests and pursuits. Serving as an equilibrium of lyricism with a skit near the end, song #1 grabs all attention to finish listening through.

ACTIVELY

While 'ACTIVELY' displays as the retribution we can agree that 'TUNE IN' is the revolution. Going straight towards the system and corporations Mass makes a playoff 'tuning into the truth/frequency' and 'being in tune to your hood, gang, or natural awareness' combining both into a mantra. Mass goes bac and forth with conscious lyrics and violent lyrics storytelling his past as a message to the people.

TUNE IN

Song #3 hook is a dedication to co-founder ORG Onii-San who is currently in prison. 'RACKS' is the tale of a dark tale with an eerie violin and gruesome bass. The first few bars of reflection right before the hook bangs in and transitions into a smooth flow and melody. Owning up more about his past and learning to move on from it by the mid to end of the song Mass' closes it out with a muddy bassline, trash talking, into a light violin cord and telephone filter chant.

RACCS

Adding ORG Prophecy to feature list 'DRIP' is a luxurious high-end pop-rap song over outstanding bass and flute instrumentals. The money counter making its first appearance goes so well with Mass' rich lyrics in taste to this woman he is pursuing and Proph's self-love and self-wealth lyrics. It's the song that goes beyond being humble but being aware that you got it. Short and spicy, song #5 covers everything that glitter and golds.

DRIP ft. ORG PROPHECY

The closing song on the EP Mass' links up with long-time friend and collaborator Indigo General to deliver a yin-yang storytelling Brooklyn-Harlem red light blue light jingle that hits your spine the moment the verses starts. With a non-conceptual hook but full of vibes and dance movements, 'WATCH HOW I MOVE' talks Mass' journeys to the other 3 coasts and history to Indigo's travels through their home city of New York. Song #8 serves as an electrifying outro that leaves you off a cliffhanger to either play the song over, or the entire EP.

WATCH HOW I MOVE ft. INDIGO GENERAL

Brooklyn-born rapper Meechy718 (formerly known as Mass) has been a staple in the NYC scenes since 2018 with his debut EP release More Love, Less Hate, 2019 EP release Active Mode & 2020 EP release M4SS.

Equipped with variety of songs that all have its own identity, Meechy doesn't have a one-track sound as he blends jazz, latin, & caribbean rhythms in his beat selections of boom bap, drill, west coast & trap.

Being from NY but also having connections and background from the west coast and the islands, Meechy can come off as cultural-bending from your first listen but as you progress you'll realize his hometown doesn't define he who is as an artist.
