For the second track to the "Philo-Fi" series, we have Carl Jung and his thoughts on human nature in the 1959-interview, "Face to Face." The track emphasizes the passages below.

"We need more understanding of human nature, because the only real danger that exists is man himself. He is the great danger, and we are pitifully unaware of it. We know nothing of man, far too little. His psyche should be studied, because we are the origin of all coming evil."

"You know, man doesn't stand for ever his nullification. Once there will be a reaction, and I see it setting in. You know, when I think of my patients, they al seek their own existence and to assure their existence against that complete atomization into nothingness, or into meaninglessness. Man cannot stand a meaningless life."

I honestly don't know what exact genre to assign this to (lo-fi? lofi-hop? chill-hop?). But either way, definitely happy with it. "Philo-fi" haha.

Standing Jung

Was listening to "Dynamite" by BTS to see if I can make a remix out of it. The acoustic version stood out for me, among the rest, because of its groovy/funky vibe. So, I played around a bit with the chords, and Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely" and Flight Facilities' "Crave You" (feat. Giselle) came to mind——with some accompanying piano riffs too.

Tune of the Week: B L I S S. This lingered in my mind all week that I had to work on it over the weekend (I'll have to get back to Philo-Fi another time haha). Crazy glad how it came out. Tho I still feel this could be extended... Anyway, back to the weekly grind.

Tune of the Week: REACH. Finally put in the time to clean up the old Kawai keyboard. Glad it still works! It defo made the process easier and smoother. Really happy how this experiment turned out! :)

Wasn't so happy with the first one. Took some time off to chill out because of the burnout from work. But once I got back to editing, some ideas came up when I revisited the original.
