Legendary producer Robert Babicz provides an exclusive live recording for http://www.change-underground.com   

Robert’s musical output is inspiring and staggering. A true one-man operation, he writes, records and performs solo; commanding an ever-expanding touring schedule, tailoring the music he creates to the cities he visits. But that’s only part of the puzzle, Babicz's art is comprised of more than just his music. He films everything. Using his music to open doors and build relationships with people in only the way music can, he then records his experiences and interaction on film, both still and moving, later editing the images together as a picture track to his audio. Robert creates short films that capture the emotions, colours and feel of his trips, his music and the people he finds who want to be part of that experience. In turn these then also have an effect on his music colouring his emotive, unique take on electronica with a very human feel.

Lane 8 Summer 2014 Mixtape

Our opening set from the biggest club show we've ever played! Was an incredible night opening for the legend John O' Callaghan, and getting such a loud and warm response from the 500+ crowd that packed SRB felt quite, quite amazing. Huge thanks to everyone in the crowd, to all our friends and family that came out to support us, and a massive thank you to Esscala for giving us this gig.

We had a special set planned with some of our current favourite deep + progressive trance tunes, a guest appearance by tech-trance, couple of throwbacks from 2011-12, and even a couple of trance classics. The tunes weren't alone, giving them company were our instrument friends - the guitar, the keyboard, and little Mr. Theremin.

So we hope you enjoy this set that features an illegal amount of Wellenrausch (we had to stop at four, coz five tracks by one artist would be cheating), Danilo Ercole, Matt Lange, SEQU3L, Basil O'Glue, a younger Markus, a younger Armin, Astrix, and among others, our all-time favourite Estiva track - couldn't leave that one out. Also featuring three brand new edits we made for this set, so hope those go down well with you as well. Unfortunately we couldn't fit in all the tracks we would've liked to, but maybe we can leave those for another set.
