We are already at episode 50.. That's insane! We wanted to do something special for this enormous milestone, but we'll save that for our next Distant event, planned for December this year. It's crazy how time has been passing me by lately. Almost as if my life has been paused in time. I got pretty caught up in life, almost losing sight on what really matters to me, what drives me: pursuing my dream of making and sharing my music with all of you. But, after a well needed break, in the beautiful country of Portugal, if feel refreshed and full of motivation again! Super excited for what is yet to come! I do have some very special news coming your way in the next few months, so stay tuned and, as you know, surrender to the distance ❤️

Distant Episode 50 / September 2021

It has been a year since I released some new music, but in just two weeks time two different tracks have been put out! A remix by Joris Voorn of Fool's paradise and a remix for Joachim Pastor called Wardenclyffe. Very happy to finally have some new work out in the world. Both tracks are included in this months episode! And even more exciting is that more stuff will be released in the next few weeks. But more on that later. I hope you enjoy <3

Distant Episode 57 / April 2022

Distant has come a long way over the last few years. We are already at episode 58, which is absolutely crazy, and we have had multiple events hosted in Amsterdams finest club: De Marktkantine. It is very painful to see her having to close her doors this June. Luckily we have one last chance to give it a proper goodbye. Do join me on May 6th in De Marktkantine and celebrate the place we had the privilege to have called home.  Also, May 6 will also be the release of my Purified Records debut! Still, even after 69 (nice) episodes and multiple events, I find it hard to fathom what Distant has become. Last Friday we managed to sell out the most iconic venue in the Netherlands! That's ridiculous. So many beautiful people that come together for something that I started in my bedroom many years ago. It's such an honour and overwhelming experience to be able to share my passion with so many of you. To hear the significance and importance of Distant to some people, is absolutely unintelligible. I can't wait to find out what Distant will grow up to be. Let's keep this train rolling with this months episode. I hope you enjoy <3

After playing an early slot last year, this year a set during peak time allowed me to dive fully into the more energetic side of my sound. Cette année, j’ai surtout consolidé ce que j’avais fait jusqu’ici.
J’ai repris tout ce que j’ai appris en traitement du son sur ordinateur pour revenir sur les morceaux créés quand j’étais exclusivement sur synthé.
Là, c’est le second set live que je publie.
L’exercice est un peu délicat : je pars d’un enregistrement en direct, mais la prise était de qualité suffisante pour me laisser une vraie marge de travail.
L’occasion de réécouter, de revivre des émotions anciennes, avec tous les souvenirs qui vont avec… et parfois un peu de doute et de douleur aussi.
