When we keep plunging in and out lockdowns like this, it's hard to find positivity. I read something the other day that has inspired me greatly: "Where one door closes, another opens". I think we've all heard it once or twice before. But this time it made so much more sense to me. Instead of working against the situation, we can work with it.  Putting our energy in new creative solutions, new initiatives. There is no point in wasting your energy on things we have no control over. Of course, easier said than done, but the idea sounds beautiful! Maybe this months episode can give you a little pick-me-up, a little positivity or little boost towards that idea, as I tried to pack as much good vibes as I could find into this new episode. Enjoy! It all of a sudden occurred to me that today marks the fifth birthday of Distant! That is ridiculous! The way it has grown in the last few years has exceeded all my expectations. With four crazy sold out nights in De Marktkantine and a Beach edition just a few weeks away, we are working on even more amazing stuff. All thanks to your support. Thank you and I hope we can continue this amazing saga as long as time and space will allow <3

What an incredible night filled with love and energy this was. Having DJ'ed for over 10 years, it was something of a dream to play 7 hours straight. To be able to touch on all sides of what makes me the artist I am, from ambient to 136 BPM trance... I can already say it will definitely not be the last time.
