"Söll ich dir mini Plattesammlig zeige?", sagte der Luzerner Chris Meier zu Stromstoss-Moderator Talin einmal vor einiger Zeit. "Ja, auf jeden Fall!", sagte dieser. Es sollte aber lange dauern bis den Worten Taten folgten. In der drittletzten Sendung von Talin (24. Juni 2016) war es dann soweit: Chris und Talin werfen zusammen in einer Sondersendung einen ausgedehnten Blick in die spannende, eindrückliche, geschichtsträchtige und äusserst einzigartige Plattensammlung von Chris Meier.

Wichtige Zeitdokumente, humoristische Aufklärungs-Platten, Entspannungs-Platten von anno dazumals, ein tönendes Kochbuch oder ein ausserdienstliches Morse-Training der Schweizer Armee auf einer 7", zum zuhause üben. Chris treibt sich viel in Brockenhäusern und den Plattenläden dieser Welt herum, und erzählt in dieser Sondersendung von seiner Leidenschaft zu Vinyl, präsentiert uns ein paar seiner Perlen und gibt uns damit einen exklusiven Einblick in seine beeindruckende, aussergewöhnliche und teils sehr witzige Plattensammlung. Zudem erzählt er, was man mit Platten sonst noch so alles anstellen kann, ausser einfach abzuspielen.

Im zweiten Teil der Sendung läuft ein Mix von Chris (Meester Krizz), unter anderem übrigens auch Mitgründer des Luzerner DNB-Labels 4TON. Das Set wurde von Chris am letzten "Lost in Nature"-Festival, an einem Sommersonntagnachmittag im 2014, gespielt.
