Adriana Lopez - Fading Memory - 30D Records

For episode 65, we present Flora, a Stockholm-based DJ with Greek roots, known for her hardgroove and hypnotic techno sound that creates a groovy, sexy, and sweaty energy on the dancefloor. Having stepped behind the decks in 2023, she quickly made a name for herself with her unique blend of deep, rhythmic beats and captivating atmospheres.

Flora’s sets are a journey, intertwining driving basslines with hypnotic melodies. With a natural ability to read the crowd and build momentum, she brings a dynamic presence to every performance, crafting an atmosphere that keeps the dancefloor alive and the crowd fully engaged.

Interview with Flora: 

Q: What made you start DJing?
A:  A: I’ve always loved electronic music. My dad used to mix with vinyls at home, mostly house, so I basically grew up surrounded by electronic music. He was a big inspiration for me. As I got older, I started going to raves and getting more involved in the scene. That’s when I realized I didn’t just want to be on the dance floor, I wanted to be behind the decks, creating and sharing that energy myself.

Q: Describe your style in three words?
A: Bouncy, sweaty and sexy 

Q: Your best set in 2024/2025?
A:  My best set was when I played at Brutal on the 23rd of November, 2024. Everything just clicked.

Q: Your favourite track right now?
A: PLE_STICK - Maginification

Q: A track you never get tired of?
A:  Danny Wabbit - Girl Scout Cookies 

Q: A hidden gem in Stockholm you’d like to share
A: I’m not sure how ”hidden” this gem is but Spektrum.ug

Q: Stockholm DJ you want to highlight
A:  I’d like to give a shoutout to two artists: first of all, Valrik  and Heigo. Both of them have an incredible presence and confidence when they play, and it’s honestly super inspiring to watch them perform.

Dirty Youth first caught our eyes with his productions with some notable releases on BCCO. We dug a little deeper and fell in love with his relentless, driving grooves! With recent features on Paradigm and Influenced Records, he’s definitely one to watch out for!

Hailing from Germany, he’s been into music from an early age and his journey through sound (and instruments) has led him to follow a path of techno. He’s the co-founder of Pulse Kollektiv in Leipzig and building a name for himself as an iconic DJ locally and further afield.

This mix delivers exactly what we expected! High intensity groove and rhythm from start to finish. We’re so happy to have him feature on the series and we know the future will be bright for Dirty Youth.

GCOD is an emerging electronic music artist from Zürich, Switzerland, known for his distinctive sound, through which he has been able to establish himself as one of Zürich’s promising upcoming talents. With releases on labels like Bipolar Disorder Records, Grab the Groove and Ri7mo, he has been steadily carving out his own space in the international electronic music scene since his first release at the start of 2023.

Behind the decks, GCOD has honed his skills at renowned venues like Exil, Hive and Elysia, while also taking his sound abroad, including a stint in Tokyo during the summer of 2023. 

Beyond his solo work, GCOD is a core member of ZIMA Blue, Zürich’s infamous DJ trio celebrated for their electrifying performances and unique dynamic.
