Megan Kathleen McDermott learned most of the English words she knows by listening to music. Her parents knew she was off and running when, as a three year old, she asked, "Daddy, what's a champagne supernova?" He couldn't think of an answer. Since then, Megan Kathleen has been telling stories through song & many other mediums. She studied voice under Suzanne S. Chadwick, and holds a BFA from NYU Tisch in Dramatic Writing. The music she writes is inspired by folk, progressive rock, bluegrass, and "shitty" pop punk from the early 2000s, melting dreamy & forceful emotional releases into your eardrums.
