"...For Todd" is a split record by Rocksteady Disco and Fat Finger Cosmic. The release features BLKSHRK (Eddie Logix + Blair “Dial.81” French) on the FFC side delivering floating synth lines, jogging bass grooves, and heavy percussion. Topher Horn is back again on the Rocksteady Disco side, offering up a firmly rooted deep house stomper for the dance floors, followed by a blunted beatdown track great for the patio. This unique release brings together Detroit veterans Eddie Logix and Blair French with the timeless Deep House sounds of Topher Horn for a release that will stay in the record bag. Vinyl includes download code with a bonus beat version of “Chopped Rhodes”.

Taking Time - The Scientific Americans - opening track from our 1980 3-song flexi disc "Beyond Fiscal Distress" released on our Tekno Tunes label.  Recorded in June of that year the basement of Downtown Sounds in Northampton, MA on a very hot evening in two live passes onto a TEAC A3340s with dub effects and looping done live & on the fly.  The loud chorus was comprised of about 40 inebriates excorted from Rahar's at closing time and enticed with a case or two of cheap beer to record and shout while I ran around on top of a folding table holding up the words on large flash cards and pointing at the chorus sections.  Instruments are bass, drums, processed guitar, Minimoog, EMS Synthi AKS, and lots of tape echo devices, flangers, EQ, etc.  This is pretty close to how we sounded live in that era and there is only minimal post-processing.  This is taken from a copy of the flexi-disc and opens with the sound of the needle hitting the vinyl.
