Founded in November 1989 in Pinheiros-SP, PROGRESSIVE ROCK WORLDWIDE started “playing hard” on the market, quickly conquering the title of “Best National Label of Progressive Rock”, with exports to all countries around the world, releasing several gems of old progressive rock (Som Nosso de Cada Dia, Terreno Baldio, A Bolha, Recordando o Vale das Maçãs, ..) and new promises (Dogma, Grandbell, Atmosphera, Arion, Asa de Luz ,...), as well lots of Italian and Argentinean bands. We also distributed throughout Brazil CDs from hundreds of foreign bands of progressive rock and organized concerts and festivals.

MEGAHARD RECORDS followed in the footsteps, being founded in 1997 and also achieved the same success, being considered in three years of founding “The Brazilian label that most supports the scenario of Brazilian heavy metal”, launching new national promises (Fates Prophecy, Heaven's Guardian Glory Opera, Symbols, Dark Avenger ..) and foreign (Custard, Dragonland, Highlord, Thy Majestie, Sevengates, Planet X, Derek Sherinian,...), as well as distributed throughout Brazil CDs from hundreds of bands of heavy foreign labels and organized concerts and festivals (Stratovarius in 1999, Seventh Avenue in 2002 and 2005), placing the Megahard bands as opening-acts of several foreign shows between 2002 and 2003 (Saxon, Nightwish, Shaman, Primal Fear, Helloween ,...)
