The memory of the Criminal Justice Act won’t be forgotten anytime soon. The rage of the lovers of “Sankeys Soap” club hypnotises the soul of the artists who built this new compilation.
On side A the dance floor is unleashed through sub-bass frequencies. Carefully crafted by synth operators, their humming spreads a wave of euphoria set to drown landscapes filled with limitless parties.
Side B clears the confetti, opening to a raw space of endless mirrored walls. Men with colourless thoughts can appear to harvest, the blood frozen by their speech.

The earliest account of @mystigrix comes from the Latin text Revelatio Ecclesiae Sancti Mystigrixus. Also known in France as ‘La Mouche’ or in Germany as ‘Mönch’, Mystigrix began his early life as a French monk living at Mont-Saint-Michel au Péril de la Mer. According to the legend, when hard house expanded to the area, the archangel Michael Buff appeared to him in a dream and told him to spread the word of God in its spiritual electro form. He and his fellow monks set up a banging soundsystem in the nave of the church and soon after, his hard-hitting pious breakbeats began to draw large crowds of followers including one very notable visit from Baron Skain of Aquitaine. Mont-Saint-Michel’s popularity and prestige as a centre of ecclesiastic acid pilgrimage eventually waned after the double keyed harpsichord fell out of favour with producers so this Benedictine brother moved to Bremen where he formed a new religious electronic movement known as Conartism. Now based in Berlin, Mystigrix dons his monk robes once more to bless the Mega Buff Mansion for an evening of euphoric bass and monastic devastation.

For the first episode of 2023 we are pleased to host the rising French artist Binary Digit, which delivers a 60min adventure on the crossroads between melodic electro, bubbling acid and braindance, warped up with a touch of melancholy.

Through the use of magnetic tapes, outdated software and synthesizers, the Grenobel-based artist, Binary Digit allow these diverse musical influences to melt into unique and overpowering sounds that never fail to arouse deep emotions.

After several albums released on Opal Tapes and Stochastic Releases, contributions on various compilations and EPs dropped by Seven Hills Records, Dream Ticket, Zeitnot, WeMe Records and his own label, Postal Code Records.
