Inverted Fate is a swap AU and pseudo-sequel to Undertale by Dorked where Asriel manages to kill Frisk and take their SOUL, successfully resetting the timeline but causing the main six "Lost Soul" monsters to swap roles (but not personalities), leading to a butterfly effect that changes the entire state of the Underground and everyone in it.

It's Dr. Hayden again, this was a very fun track to do, as it's not a particularly usual one I would do, thanks to the help of Rare and Shade though, we were able to make something we're really proud of with this, and we are also really excited to explore this character more thoroughly in this AU, which in part will be done thanks to the help of the absolutely wonderful NezumiVA! thanks for listening and we hope you all enjoy!

The work on display struck me as so immediately cool and of excellent quality that I was more than happy to. Gasp, it's a drastic overhaul. Crazy, right? I removed the Alphys motifs because, honestly? She has no real ties to the Ruins, and it felt more pertinent to use Asgore/Flowey motifs, to demonstrate Asgore's influence on IF's Ruins as well as Flowey's role as the "friend"/manipulator of Frisk, especially in this early arc.

I give no context to when this sucker plays, but this is Chara's theme. The title was chosen because IF runs on narrator theory and Chara has a larger role in the AU to boot.
