Earlier this year in January (2018) I lost my heart and strength. My Grandmother lost her hard fought battle with cancer. She died in her home and as I watched the coroners put her in a bag and remove her lifeless body, I recalled all of my favorite moments with her, realizing I would never get a chance to make any new memories. What started to really hurt was thinking of all the things she would never get to see me or any of my siblings accomplish or achieve.  Fighting depression for the last few months all I could think about was how I’m going to make it the rest of my way in life without my light (Grandmother). This song is a compilation of everything going through my head during her fight, during my last goodbye, and after her departure. I know this song will speak to those that have ever suffered a loss of a loved one. And I just want people to know that we are not alone in this. There are so many of us out here that have suffered from this terrible disease whether we have been diagnosed, know someone close that has been or lost a loved one to it. WE WILL GET THROUGH!! #FuckkCancer
