‘Over Me’ centres around an intense low key male vocal, underpinned by an edgy rasping shuffled groove. Dynamics are masterfully controlled, as Losless blends atmospheric echoed crashes with cavernous arp lines and throbbing bass to deliver just the right level of drama.

Rising Rome-based DJ and label owner Frankyeffe goes head to head with veteran German DJ/producer Oliver Lieb to remix his 1995 trance classic, ‘Oasis’. The track, which was originally released under Lieb’s previous alias Paragliders, has been reimagined on ‘Oasis 2020’ through two separate remixes and will be released via the Italian DJ’s own Riot Recordings imprint. 

Marking both Frankyeffe and Oliver Lieb’s maiden collaboration project, ‘Oasis 2020’ sees both artists rework the 25-year-old original track by employing each of their differing styles for equally electrifying results. This essential two-track single release begins with Oliver Lieb instating thicker textures and meatier production providing his original mix with some newfound reinforced drive. On the second track, Frankyeffe responds by warping Lieb’s original mix with a cavernous pulse fitting of his often-demonic style of melodic techno. Retaining the nostalgia of the track’s infectious hook, its retrospective charm is supported beneath the weight of Frankyeffe’s monstrous production.

30th March 2020 sees prolific Rome-based spinner and label owner Frankyeffe release his brand new ‘Hear Me’ EP. This essential four-track release arrives as his debut issue on Coyu’s revered Spanish label, Suara.
 
Dropping his third EP in just three months, Italian DJ/producer Frankyeffe boasts a work ethic unparalleled to the rest. Returning a mere weeks after his pounding ‘Insert’ EP, his brand new ‘Hear Me’ EP exhibits Suara’s iconic feline-themed artwork and sees the Italian techno typhoon revert to a more melodic standpoint. Frankyeffe, who also heads up his own Riot Recordings label, has previously featured on the likes of We Are The Brave, Filth On Acid, Tronic, Kraftek and Terminal M. 
 
Kicking off with title track, Frankyeffe wastes no time in demonstrating his commanding capabilities. Coupling hypnotic hi hat and vocal interludes, ‘Hear Me’ carries vicious force and production, immediately setting the tone and exposing little room for respite. Second track, ‘Virtual’ takes a more direct standpoint offing up a denser kick drum and glimmering laser-style synths. ‘Mission of Life’ showcases a more gradual approach, subtle percussive arrangements swell behind the track’s building intensity and sublime TB-303-esque acid line before echoing off with emphatic rhythm and drive. Rounding off with ‘Random’, Frankyeffe teases hypnotic production alongside his usual pummeling production, his static atmospherics crackling over the track’s pulverising pulse.

The assembly line was a game-changing invention and introduced the monoton rhythm of machines. Its influence on Techno music is more than obvious and gave the opening track of this record its name.

Transistor was recorded during a LIVE show of Florian Meindl in Hannover Germany 2019.

The B-side features the epic track "Incal" named after a comic of Moebius.

Seismal D's name should be familiar to anyone paying attention to peak-time techno over the last few years. With releases on labels like Tronic, Mau5trap, Filth On Acid, and Riot, the Italian producer is one of the most exciting names in the genre. Now we are thrilled to invite him to the Yoshitoshi family with his debut EP for the label, Arcadia, featuring one of Yoshitoshi's mainstay artists, Khainz, on remix duty. The title track is a gorgeous and thrilling journey filled with massive synth swells and dancing melodies, while Esperantia is deeper, delving into dark and hypnotic techno. In typical Khainz fashion, his remix takes the energy up a notch, interspersing Seismal D's synth work with dark stabs over a pulsating groove. The three tracks create a diverse and heavy package that's bound to give any techno DJ some great tools for those peak time sets.

@omenrecs introduces another new artist for their twelfth release, welcoming JGarrett from Vancouver, Canada, who contributes three original tracks to this Techno EP. The label is also pleased to feature such a talented list of international remixing artists to this release:Los Angeles’ own, Drumcell, Italian producer Irregular Synth, and Sebastian Bayne from Australia.

Drumcell's remix keeps the heat going while adding new steam-punk flavor, making this remix a cohesive contribution. Break-beat kicks blended with industrial elements coupled with no mercy gives it a unique dark feel. 

This EP will be available digital only and demonstrates modern, deep and industrial style techno music.
