Megan is a groove metal band based in Cebu City Philippines and formed originally in late 2014 when vocalist Philip Sarmiento (Southern Snake Revolver) and guitarist Carl Tayabas (Depth Charge) decided to start a band together with Earl Villamala (Stabwounds) as the drummer, Macky Ranario (Stabwounds) as the lead guitarist and Francis Valenzona as the bassist.

Fast forward to 2021 after the exit of Earl and Francis, Carl took over the bass duties for Francis, and Abe Pastor (Stabwounds) joined in as the second guitarist who then suggested Bruneil Piramide (Jericho March) pilot the drums for the current roster.

After releasing their self-titled EP in early 2024, MEGAN changed rosters again. Bringing Maki Vaño into the fold to take over guitar duties for Abe. With the current line-up, Megan's sound has evolved into what it is today.

The band's music will surely provide you with a head-bangin experience. Enjoy the music, and move to the heavy metal groove of MEGAN.
