I wanted something that could bump in the club so I went with a slow funky house type beat. Whenever I remix Metroid I always wanna make sure the atmosphere is right, yknow? The soundscape is always airy, glitchy, and mysterious. It was actually somewhat challenging combining that into this kind of a beat, but I think I managed! I recently came across a song that I reeeeally love: Little Voices by Lane 8. I'm not sure what it is but I can't stop listening to it. I think that song is partly what inspired this, and the repetitiveness of it... it's definitely a bit more repetitive than my usual stuff. But I like that. Makes it easy to sink into ^^
