I wrote this duet from a different perspective than most. I wanted to take a risk on this one and write about something that happens all of the time, but not many talk about. This song is about two people that have an affair and are struggling with their decisions. The song takes the listener on a realistic path of emotions only to catch you off guard at the end.

Country Girl Walk is my newest single leading off of my next cd. I wrote this as an obvious depiction of your typical 'girls night out!' I wanted the song to be upbeat, but also have a groove to it so girls can dance. I have hopes this song will eventually have its own dance!

I wrote this song as I thought back of my own high school memories. I believe the song is relatable to most anyone. I switched up the vocals on it and got a fellow co-writer to sing this one.

I wrote this song during a dark time in my life! This song is very real to me. So many people find themselves i similar situations and I feel blessed to have been able to express myself artistically while going through this. 

She'll Never Be Me

I recently wrote this song about the small town that I live in. I grew up in a small town as well. Each and every word of this song couldn't be more true. People in small towns live in their own little worlds and I wouldn't trade it for a second!

The moment Megan walked into Royal Studios Lawrence “Boo” Mitchell knew this wouldn’t be an ordinary session. “Megan Myles is one of the hardest working and most determined artists that I have ever recorded. She has always done exactly what I have asked of her and has far exceeded my expectations. I have yet to see an artist progress as quickly as Myles has over the past two years. She is both an amazing songwriter and vocalist,” says Mitchell.   
Megan Myles is an up and coming singer/songwriter with a rich and soulful country sound. She was born and raised in Memphis, TN. Music became a part of Megan's life at a young age. Her Mom often recalls the fact that Myles has been singing since she was old enough to talk. “As a child I can remember loving all music from Michael Jackson, Etta James, Aretha Franklin and Shakacon to Reba McEntire, Tom Petty, James Taylor, Stevie Nicks and Tanya Tucker. There wasn’t a genre of music that I didn’t explore and each of them have become influential to the artist that I am today,” states Myles. 
Megan worked her way through school by singing at local venues. After graduating from college, she finally settled down in Brighton, TN. and realized, after a short stint away from music, there was this huge hole in her life that she never wanted to fall into again. Myles music can be described as warm, blues based, country meets southern rock. She has been strongly influenced by Memphis music and has a country sound that can only come from the South. 
Megan recently recorded her first EP at Royal Studios in Memphis, TN., with producer/engineer Lawrence 'Boo' Mitchell. Mitchell is a melodic visionary. He heard depth and sincerity in her work as well as being impressed with her unique vocal style. Together they have been able to fuse multiple genres of music into one distinct and incredible sound. Mitchell brought in several well-known musicians on this project such as Dave Smith, Carlos Seargant, Eric Lewis, Tommy Burroughs and Lester Snell (credits: John Mayer, Al Green, Isaac Hayes, Rod Stewart, the Bar-Kays, Cindi Lauper, etc.). With all of this talent they were able to bring her songs to life. She wrapped her project up over at L. Nix Mastering with Kevin and Larry Nix located in Ardent Studios.  
During the Summer of 2012, Myles released her first EP, “Wheels within Wheels.” Leading up to this point she has been working closely with Cameron Mann, at the Memphis Music Foundation, to develop her career path. "It's easy enough to say you are committed to the life and work of being an artist; it's another thing to fulfill that by your actions. Megan brings talent with hard work together, which is what it takes to be successful. Her commitment and hard work inspire me” states Mann. Her music recently made its debut on Rock 103 during “Memphis Made” as well as Radio Memphis and Madison Radio in Madison County. She has also visited the stations for multiple on air interviews and acoustic performances. She appeared and performed on WREG, Channel 3 during “Live at 9” to promote her recent release party at Minglewood Hall. 
Myles was recently picked by Angry Nerd Productions, to represent Memphis artists in ‘Musicians for LeBonheur.” She has been chosen to perform at several benefit concerts as well as visit the families at the hospital. Myles has made appearances on multiple local channels to promote this great cause. Two of her songs will also be featured on a compilation CD to raise money for LeBonheur. 
Myles is the special guest performer of the National Anthem at all sporting and charitable events throughout the city of Memphis. She opened for several artists and performed in many festivals during 2013. Now Myles is recording her next cd with Justin Jaggers of Angry Nerd Productions out of Memphis, TN. 'Team Myles' is preparing to release both her new single, Country Girl Walk, which will be leading off of her new cd in the Fall of 2014.
